That's pretty amazing how something simple like hardwood from Lowes can find a home where its so appreciated like this truck, simple yet classy at the same dam time.
Coming from a car guy I must say these videos are awsome. Something different everytime and consistant. Im usally eating my lunch while watching. Nothing like ham and cheese and some Scottie videos.
My God Scottie, you keep on delivering... what a beautiful van. The flat paint with the black wheels and trim is out of this world. And the interior is subtle but it has that cosy homely feel. Cheers man, look forward to many more great finds from you.
Man I really like this one Scottie ... It looks like a plain and simple design but that flatting down the hood isn't a easy task ... I have a buddy that does a lot of old Chevy designs like this ... Great video brotha ... Thanks for sharing as usual ...
All these lovely hot rods is too much. I lke the all This van is one of the nicest ive seen.that paint with that grill is so taste fully done. Excellent build Thanks for the upload..
Nice work, very clean. I'm not a fan of the flat paint but that is a beautiful job. Thanks for sharing Scottie, and show us your car some time I'd like to see the wrap you did on it.
Beautiful Panel my brother had a 47 his had the 3 chrome strips went across the fenders he never done anything with it we tried to get it going but he gave up on it.
Saw this on FB, and it's a really beautiful job. One question though: Is it really a '47? The reason I ask it that from '47 through '53, Chevy trucks had a split windshield. The curved windshield, which is on this truck, was only introduced in '54. This truck, however, doesn't have a '54 grille.
This a bad ass truck but I think it would be even more bad if the door handles where kept then dipped In copper with the grille, headlight rings and wheels against that sexy color.
That cab portion isn't a 47. The one piece windshield wasn't available on the Advance Design body till 1954. Regardless, I'm building one myself, a 53, and only dream of a stance like that!
Zombie Jake Heaton Right on....Will had done so much work...he forgot to mention that the client wanted that one piece window....so grafted a 54 window onto that 47 cab...this thing looks simple...but there is a bunch of work done to it...glad you enjoyed it Brother!!
+ScottieDTV anywhere near Nashville? Headed there in November to visit and I want to see those kinds of area. I live in Los Angeles and it's nothing like that. is there a specific city or street where it was filmed.
I love the truck, but to say it was "built to drive" is a bit of a stretch. It has no wipers and no rear view mirrors, inside or out . How do you even get it tagged ?
That's pretty amazing how something simple like hardwood from Lowes can find a home where its so appreciated like this truck, simple yet classy at the same dam time.

+Bob Bubba Yes it is a 47...it's all custom...
ScottieDTV So you put a '54 windshield in the '47? That's what I really call artistry. Anyone else would have just fused the divided windshield.
Bob Bubba I didn't..lol...I just shot the video...but Hudsons Rod and Custom did...
rollin art !!
Stabit For sure!
A '47 Chevy Bread truck was my first RV. I bought it to tow my race boat. Certainly wasn't that slick.
Jim Foreman But I bet it was fun...lol
nice truck, but if it rains don't forget to park under the bridge. 😂
How rare are these? I have a 1946 1 ton panel delivery but I can't find any production numbers for it. You've got an amazing car.
Kasey Costner You know what I know...all I do is shoot the videos...
This a bad ass truck but I think it would be even more bad if the door handles where kept then dipped In copper with the grille, headlight rings and wheels against that sexy color.

Just not a daily driver when its raining cause they shaved off the wipers besides changing the windshield.
I love the truck, but to say it was "built to drive" is a bit of a stretch. It has no wipers and no rear view mirrors, inside or out . How do you even get it tagged ?
