  • Join in with the Turnin Rust crew for this Start To Finish special! Venturing into the dense North East Texas woods, the team hopes to rescue this abandoned 1946 International KB1 truck. This family heirloom has slowly been forgotten and overtaken by nature for over 50 Years! Wanting to help the family out, the guys cut through the overgrown brush in attempt to remove what mother nature has taken hold of. Once back at the shop, the guys dig in and discover a long list of obstacles they must cross off before they're able to see this locked up 75-year-old piece of machinery run again. Feeling motivated to take this thing to the next level, the team look into what it will take to restore the looks of this forgotten gem. Digging through the mess of mouse homes and debris, they're able to transform this family heirloom back to its former glory.
This video is a compilation of a 3 part series we did on our Restored channel. We've pieced together the content to show a full start to finish rebuild. We hope you enjoy the video!

In the 60’s my dad ran on the figure 8 here locally so we always had a car in the back yard being worked on. I was about 8 when he was spraying gas in the carburetor and it blew back and caught fire. He ended up with some pretty sever burns on his face and down an arm. I know you are aware of those hazards, but please just be safe. I am a new viewer and I really love what you’re doing here. That’s a lot of hard work and it’s wonderful to see this old truck running again. Great job. ✌🏻🤍

I would like to say first, I truly love your work. Love seeing the family working together and having a great time. I knew I had seen this truck on your other channel but I have to say, (this is where people may disagree with me) the title of this video is somewhat misleading. I was hoping it was this truck making its way back to you for you to complete a full restoration to make it like new again. That would have been very cool to see. A better title would have been, “full video…….” or something like that, rather than “Full Rebuild” because that is not what this was. This strikes me as almost being “clickbait”. Like I said, I know many will disagree with me on this but it’s just the hazard of what I do for a living. That being said, I do enjoy watching you bring these forgotten vehicles back to life.

If you notice as soon as they started cleaning out around that old pickup and then they got to notice and things about that pickup that wasn't like it should be or being as bad as they expected it to be. If you really watch close, you'll see all the blessings, a bunch of blessings that God has blessing them on that old pickup that it doesn't do that for everybody. But these guys are serving the Lord the Lord's serving them right back. But I noticed that because I watched many of these films about restoring his old cars and saving them. But you know these people, it's obvious God is with them
