That Lou Reed! Archive quality and condition! Beautiful acquisition, Mark. Great Al Green record. Great Miles and Ammons pick ups! Hootie! Nice! I like the groovy chill mood soul hip hop create. Love that Bananarama! Great Comps!
I bounce back-and-forth between the Al Green titles. They are all incredible. Beautifully produced and arranged. For having such a limited vocal range, Lou created some great music. Have a great week Steve.
Hello Mark! It was not lost on me that you sat outside this past weekend on a 'Perfect Day' to share your finds. Great stuff: Lou, Al, Miles & John, Northern Soul...and Bananrama! Fantastic😎🎶🎸🎤. I scored some neat stuff this past weekend as well here in CT. Will share that soon.
Ed, I can’t wait to see what you picked up. It really was a perfect day. I highly recommend the Davis and Coltrain title. I’ve been playing catch-up. I am terribly inconsistent in posting videos. We do the best we can. 👍
Mark, killer Lou Reed box set. I didn’t know the target sale was that big of discount. I didn’t know they weren’t marked and had to check price at the scanner. Cool pick ups. Peace ☮️ Namaste 🙏 the Zonkman
Hey Mark! No way would I hold the Collective Soul against you. I have three of their first four albums on CD, only missing Disciplined Breakdown. Deep Sea Skiving is a really fun album - and an amazing find at a thrift store! All-in-all a nice haul. Have a great week!
Thanks, Dave. People either love or hate Collective Soul. Their singers voice and style are unusual. I didn’t know they had so many hits! Have a great week.
Looks like a nice day! I love the Blue Mask, especially the title track, Waves of Fear, and Underneath the Bottle. I think you did well at Target. I think Shine might be the only Collective Soul track I know, and I think it is very good 🙂
Yesterday was one of the few days without rain. Beautiful! I've been listening to Lou Reed a lot lately. Coney Island Baby is Lou's "I'm in Love” album. I prefer Lou when he's unhappy. Thanks, Brian
some cool stuff there mark. oddly enough i was just reading some history bout bananarama. not a band im really into although i can think of 3-4 songs by them i like. i think i was watching the vevo 80s music videos channel and one of their videos came on and got me wondering about their backstory. kinda interesting. not what i expected. i think i always thought they were some manufactured thing.
I was just at a Target, they had nothing on clearance. I love that Ollective Soul album, it’s the only one I need from them. I got that Reed box set also, took care of most of the Reed stuff I needed. Did the basement fill up with records so you need to open it up Mark lol.
That’s because I bought them all😱 Sometimes they don’t sticker the albums. I’ll take a handful up to scanner and check the prices. I know what you’re thinking. It’s not nice. CS’s greatest hits serves me well as well. Slowly chugging along with the 45s. That pool looked refreshing, no swimming on the job!
I’m shocked you for anything at Savers. Has been YEARS since I found anything to take outta there. I support the Collective Soul buy. We’ll be made fun of together then! 😅
I’ve all but given up on Savers and Goodwill. JC scores at Savers all the time; he’s pulled a lot of black gold out of there. Let them talk. I won’t hear anyway, I’ll have Shine cranked on the turntable. Take care, Chance
I had to edit a recent video as well, due to copyrighted content! I am familiar with the Matrix album, I really enjoy it. A few years back Sundazed released a fantastic box. The Quine Tapes.
The view is refreshing ❤
It was a beautiful day, no doubt about that!

Thanks, Steve. They did an excellent job with the Lou Reed box. It’s the luck of the draw at Target .🎯

Hey Steve. I don’t know much of their history. I do remember a couple of their videos from the 80s and of course, their big hit.

any love for the Matrix VU album? I played it on my channel and they gave me a copyright. Great video
