Great pieces of kit, though rather expensive. Thanks for watching and for the question. I wouldn't say it is overly thin. The weave is extremely tight which is very important for warmth and wind resistance. As far a warmth goes I find it better than my other wool blankets. ✌️🌲

What brand of ferro rod are you using? Very cool!
Thanks for watching! I use a variety of ferro rods from Light My Fire and other brands.
I also like buying ferro rod blanks from Ebay and putting antler or wooden handles on them. A very inexpensive option, they work well and look cool👍🔥
Very nice Man ...delicious...😋
Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to comment!
Great review what brand of tarp are you using ?
Thanks very much! I use Aquaquest tarps. I have several reviews on my channel about my tarps if you want to check them out👍
Great video......please provide info re the snow shoes?
Thank you
Thank you! I actually don't have any info to give. I bought these second hand and there isn't a label on them. I talk a bit about them here.ruclips.net/video/6-WG9lWmUgg/видео.html
I have a new pair of GV bearpaws in the mail now , I will probably do a video on them.
Thank you
Nice!
Thanks for stopping by my friend!👍
Yep, that wool blanket is as important up North as a Skeeter net is in the South.👍🔥🥩👍
Haha very well said my friend! Thanks for watching👍😀

@@Woodswalker1965 Awesome. Thank you! Subbed. :)
Nice anorak. I will get one when I get the money one of these days
Worth saving up for buddy, I don't regret it for sure! Thanks for watching👍
Great video! I'm currently looking for a good wool alternative for an anorak. They are awesome, but itchy. Take care, thanks for the vid!
Thanks very much for watching. It's true some folks are more sensitive to wool than others. I hope you find something that works for you. Take care👍
Nice meal, big steak and eggs, but where are the vegetables??? :)
Cows eat vegetables don't they?😉
It was a rare treat my friend, I usually have oatmeal for breakfast lol! Take care👍

Question: How soft is that Pendlrton?.
The blanket is quite comfortable. Not super soft like a fleece but very good quality wool.
Good video
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment my friend👍
I just watched this video, which was great by the way. But I'm just wondering if you've heard of the Al's anorak from weather wool. If so, what made you decide to go with the boreal mountain brand. Thanks!
I have heard of Weatherwool and decided on BMA because I felt they were a better value for me. The first item I purchased was the Rough Anorak and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Thanks for watching 👍
The blanket appears to be thin, can you comment on that and if it is, how is it for keeping warm?
Thanks for watching and for the question. I wouldn't say it is overly thin. The weave is extremely tight which is very important for warmth and wind resistance. As far a warmth goes I find it better than my other wool blankets. ✌️🌲
@ 5:45 What is this Axe ? I really like the look of it ? have you did a review on it ? ... oh PS as of 3/3/21 the Blanket was Out of Stock 8( I currently use a pathfinder blanket also nice.
Thanks for watching, I talk about this axe here in this video. Contact info for the gentleman who restores them is included as well.

@@Woodswalker1965 thank you , Checking out his Instagram, some pretty axes, like a candy store they all look so nice.
Joe does fantastic work!👍
I noticed you switched to the Frost River Isle Royale pack a while ago. Do you still have the LL BEAN CONTINENTAL RUCKSACK? If so, would you be willing be sell it? I've checked the new model and its smaller. Side pockets only hold small smart water bottle size. Front pouch alot smaller as well.
Hi, I've heard that they changed the dimensions on the LLBean pack, it's unfortunate. I still have the LLBEAN pack, I don't think I'll sell it at the moment. If you email me I'll keep you in mind though. Take care and thanks for watching my friend👍
Ok. What's your email address? Thanks

Thank you so much I appreciate your kind words my friend. Take care!
What size tarp have you gravitated towards for these types of half day outings?
I tend to carry a 5x7 or a 10x10 max. More often a 5x7. Thanks for watching my friend.👍
