My issue with the Casio is the bracelet transition into the watch. The Specht & Sohne watch looks identical to the PRX bracelet integrating into the watch transition. The Casio looks like the bracelet is separate from the watch. You said it best, the Specht bracelet is well integrated with the watch.
The brushing on the Specht top of case looks way better than the Casio

Like chalk and cheese Wes. The S&S kicks the Casio out of the park. It's amazing that for such low prices both watches meet the brief but one does in a way that exudes quality fit and finish, that being the S&S. I would buy the S&S in a heart beat and be proud to wear it under any cuff. Nice comparison as always.

Should i go for the 37mm or the 41mm on the aliexpress watch, i would love to see a comparison , prefer the dial on the 41mm but the 37mm size suits better to my wrist. Best regards and great work love you videos

Thanks again Wes, both look great but I far prefer the S&S - it has so many better advantages over the Casio, which looks downmarket in terms of build, looks and features. I really believe that the Chinese are slaying the lower end of the watch market, in terms of quality, accuracy, value for money, build and looks!!

Hey Wes thanks mate another great overview ! I bought the Pagani Chrono similar stule but had the same issue as another guy below , my wrist is quite wide & the lugs sat up on top of my wrist which was a real disappointment as I was really looking forward to it ! I think the Specht & Sohne is a real winner for the price . The Casio has rolled links 😂 a snap case back 😂 push pull crown 😂 & mineral glass & costs $20 more 😂😂 . Cheers

It seems to me that the Specht & Sohne has the same problem with the unflexible endlink like the Pagani 1761, wich is for me (8,5 inch wrist) not wearable. But your video is a nice comparison between those two competitors, thanks for that! Btw: I met s guy yesterday. I thought he was wearing the new Casio and gave him a compliment. He smiled and showed me his watch. It was not the Casio, it was an older Nixon Time Teller . So, looking forward to your next one 👍👍👍

Okay, the Specht & Söhne (interesting German name for a Chinese brand) seems to be much better made than the Casio. But Casio can do that even with the cheapest quartz watches:
The second hands hit the second markers 100%. Specht & Söhne don't even come close, which would drive me crazy if I had to look at them every day. That's just the thing about the quality control of cheap Chinese homage watches.

Hi Wes. Another interesting comparison and review of those 2 watches. I would definitely choose the Specht & Sohne over the Casio. The dial colour of the Casio is nice with the turquoise reflection. I did buy 3 watches (2 Accurist who are discontinued now and one Sekonda who is discontinued now) from watches2u. Good service. Accurist and Sekonda are almost not known here in Canada. By the way, is it normal that we see sometimes on AliExpress Casio and Seiko watches among all the pictures of the watches that we see ? They seem to me copy and not homage. It is printed Casio or Seiko on the dial. It might be a humble suggestion for a future video. I mean what to be careful about when you surf on AE. Take Care everyone !

I seen some people saying the Casio was being sold before the whole PRX hype so I would struggle to call it a homage
An interesting viewpoint, yet factless. The original Tissot PRX was released in the 1970s. The reissues were released before these Casio MTPs☝️😄
@@weswatches No one cared about the original PRX, so no company thought to copy it, only after it got its hype recently meaning its original release date isn’t important. Whilst my source for the MTP’s release date is Bens watch club’s video on it (not exactly academic lol) he does talk about listing release dates, so I wouldn’t call it a viewpoint if it’s true release date was prior to the revamped PRX.
