This is what happens when you cut payroll while making bad trades and signings.
Story of the year is Pablo. He is an average starter. Not living up to that contract
Pablo isn't a leader, gray made him a good pitcher.
If you ignore literally every Pablo Lopez game, he hasn’t been terrible
dont forget about opening day 🤓☝
Pablo isn't a leader, he's a number #2, gray made him good.
@@terrificturkey and he did pitch a couple of good playoff games, but pitching like he is this year, he may not get a chance to repeat that.
A painful series no doubt but they had some fight in them. We can't rely on having Lopez pitch off the plate afraid to throw hits. If you cant get them down swinging rely on your defense to get the outs. Walking half the Yankees order is not a good solution. Just leads to multiple RBI plays.
Everybody is always talking about scoring more points, when we should be more concerned about making the other teams score less
10 minutes?! Holy Mary, pray for us! Thanks.
🙏🙏🙏
Joe ryan being our #1 was not what i expected its nice hes gotta work on his consistency cant again have a long stretch of bad outings like past few years
Twins gotta get rid of the farmers, Margot & replace them with good hitters cant keep having 3-4 guys in the lineup going 0-4 on a regular basis so many guys in the lineup have been disappointing. Its clear were a wildcard team at best not catching Cleveland
On the plus side of that, their contracts are up at the end of the season and combined there worth is over 10 million that may be invested in a better player if the Pohlad's don't pocket the savings.
hoping the can win
Welp!
There ae 3 teams in MLB that Pablo has at least 10 careers starts each against, the Braves and Nationals (14 each) and the Mets (12). Pablo's combined career ERA against those 3 teams is 5.49. IDK maybe 5.45 is gonna be his new normal as the AL hitters see more of him? But hey, he did strike out 189 of those Braves , Nats, and Mets in 198.1 innings so we're happy in Minnesota.
Need another pitcher . Swr,paddack have been solid but twins need a consistent top end starter
Right now Lopez is #4 behind Ryan, Ober and Woods Richardson.
Maybe this makes me a bad fan, but I don't even watch the Yankees/Twins games. What's the point?
Hitters adjusted to Pablo, now it's Pablo's turn to adjust.
It's called the Sweeper, not working out so well right now.
Be nice to get brooks lee & even e rod up this year
Julien is tearing up AAA, Hitting .150 and a mere 4 K in his last 10 AB. Meanwhile that bum he made expendable lowered his BA last night with 2 hits and is merely leading MLB in hitting for the 2nd consecutive year.
Ownership that doesn’t care if we win, front office and coaching staff that are bottom 5 in the league and a good team of athletes that underperforms because of them. Nothing changes for the Twins. Does it really matter whether they miss the playoffs, lose in the Wild Card or lose in the divisional series? Who cares? They have a 0% chance of winning or even making a World Series.
You just laid out why the Twins going off of Comcast has been a good thing for myself. I have found many more things to do, and am happy that I'm not wasting my time any longer.
Arraez is hitting .335 and Pablo is 5-6 with an ERA of 5.45. How’s that trade looking now?
Pablo himself isn't a leader, gray made him good. The lesson here is MN needs to invest in a #1 pitcher, then the arrez for pablo trade would be good.
Arreaz on his 2nd team.. he's a singles hitter while good Pablo won the twins multiple games in the playoffs twins won that grade regardless. No chance Pablo just all of a sudden terrible he will bounce back at some point
@@iwannatalktosampson5852 I just posted something you might want to read. In Pablo's entire career, he's got at least 10 starts against 3 teams. They're all NL East teams from his time in Miami - Braves, Nationals and Mets. 38 career starts against those 3. 198.1 career innings. Gues what his ERA is? 5.49. The teams that have seen him most have kicked his behind. He didn't suddenly get terrible. The more teams have seen him, the better they have hit him. He wasn't wild against the Yankees, 6 walks to 3 guys. He was scared.
When you swing at pitches that the umpires has been calling balls all game. You can’t expect to win games. Then the pitches he has been calling strikes and you don’t offer at them you can’t expect to win.
Piss poor office and field management of a team that should be much greater than it is. Always trading away great talents like Luis Arraez (just the type of batting consistency we need to get guys on base and provide pressure to opposing pitchers) in order to strengthen our own pitching. Where does that get us? A very mediocre Pablo Lopez and a Joe Ryan who does nothing but put meatballs right down the pipe that leave the yard in dramatic fashion. Meanwhile the whole bank is spent on talent like Buxton and Lewis who spend half the season or more on the IR every year. Can we please just beat the Yuckees ONCE? Twins need new ownership and general management that is willing to recognize and hang on to true talent. If Rocko was an NHL manager, he would've been canned a long time ago.
God how I miss the Tom Kelly era Minnesota Twins. IT'S BEEN 33 YEARS!!!!!!!
Best run in over 20 years and the first thing they do is cut payroll and get rid of their best pitcher. Then they sign with a bankrupt TV provider nobody can watch. What more could we possibly want?
Need another hitter, we need
VLADIMIR
GUERRERO JR. and another Pitcher ...trade - trade trade ! !
Vlad makes $19,900,000. That should tell you all you need to know about him becoming a Twin.
Twins are smelling like trash right now. Gotta clean up the vibes and start trying. I’m sick of being garbage when Cleveland is actively cheating and no one cares
We are that small-market chihuahua contender, that just can't rise to the level to compete with the big market team "systems."
Yet Cleveland is....
@@benjames4502 I'm not a Cleveland fan....we have our own problems.
@@dw2367 my point still stands, you don't need a 300 million dollar payroll to be one of the best teams in baseball.
Saturday night shut out again no comments from you did you give up like every one else aHey Popkins got to Lewis no hitting FIRE SALE NOW
No video up to complain on for today's embarrassment against the pirate's ×2, so I'll bitch on this one. Buxton is terrible. Duran is waayyy overhyped! Rarely a clean inning. Been a MONTH since he's struck out 2 or more in an inning. He looks heavy & out of shape. We Have 3 guys even capable of a big hit (Roycey/Correa/Miranda). The team has NO PULSE!!! Outside of Royce there's a team full of ho-hum, quiet, lost in their own mind bunch of head cases. No consistency to the lineups. One day you're hitting 8th the next you're in the 2 hole. As soon as you start believing in this team they show you why you shouldn't.
They suck!!!!
