Naw elbows bent, locked hips, lots of arms, 6 inch sway left to right and release at the top of the swing is all it takes. Works well for getting the ball over 600 yards
PaveLowExpert Agreed, the putter blows my mind. It's a lot easier than people think to hit a putter for distance, but still there's a threshold. 200 is pretty possible if you know what you're doing, but after that it's up to the players skills. 300 should not be possible.
Always come back to this video and have been for so many years. Most rewatchable golf vid and you can’t even see where the ball is going (just it taking off)
I used to compete in LD and my max recorded head speed was 134mph. 340y drives were the norm for me. Another competitor who hit after me had a 145mph head speed and let me tell you, the difference in impact sound just between 134mph and 145mph is phenomenal. As soon as he hit his first ball, which I saw was going to land in the fairway, I picked up my clubs before it even landed and jumped in the car. I found out later that his first shot was 45 yards past me. That is "A MILE" in LD competitions.
Bobby Stretch Please explain to me how why I am an idiot? I'm a big fan of his and yes I do know he's a great golfer and as I stated before he is also entertaining.
SplitSecond Life his life is to tour around and get paid to be Jamie the long drive guy, so yea he better have a personality or someone else who can hit it a mile will do the same
Now, this sharing something very entertaining with others that's worth while, Rolf! I really enjoyed this and someday maybe I'll come up with great new material like you have here. Thanks!
Jamie was RUSHED to finish this as it was getting Dark and yet he put on an amazing display of Power and Finesse in the short time he was allotted. He is a Trick-Shot artist and is also a SCRATCH Golfer when he plays serious golf. He may someday be on the PGA Tour; I hope it comes to pass.
Honestly afrter watching this video, I think its safe to say Jamie has better hand eye coordination than any golfer who has ever lived..And i thought that title maybe belonged to someone like Phil, Trevino, or Tiger, but this display is just mindblowing...
Right? I just don't see how you couldn't be on tour with your second shot in wedge range minimum everytime (and especially for him since he hits his PW like 190)
Long drive is one thing... playing a complete game is another. He is a 2 handicapper so slowly making progress. If he can tighten his dispersion and drive conservatively 350 to 380... coupled with short game.... watch out.
@@MrMark945 he doesn’t hit it that far in tournaments. He stays at modest low 300 totals for control. He just doesn’t have the confidence to be aggressive and go after every hole. He still shoots low 65 like it’s nothing at a local course. He’s on the Canadian tour.
The power he gets right at that moment of impact is comparable to Tour players and probably more. Unbelievable. I'm a solid ball striker, very consistent but I hit my 5-iron about 185-190 whereas this dude is blasting his 5-iron 250+. What a freakin golf swing
His full swing is better than most tour players...his release and impact timing is absolutely incredible...I dont see why you dont spend a min amount of time and develop even an average short game...youd make it on tour even if it's just for a little bit
We hired this guy for client event and it’s really amazing to watch him. It’s truly a skill sport. You can give me Tiger woods clubs and I would still suck. You can give Jamie my Tommy Armour set and he will still kill it.
His distance is insane. I'm a relatively long hitter compared with who I play with and he's still easy a full 3 clubs shorter than me for the same distances.
Hey, just wanted to say that you are loved more than you could ever imagine, no matter what is going on in your life. Life can be incredibly hard, but we are blessed so much by our Lord and savior. The people in your life, the phone or computer you’re reading this on, and the simple act of breathing are all huge blessings. Don’t focus on the negatives, or what has or could go wrong. Focus on Jesus and the many blessings He gives us every day. Smile and take a breath. God’s got it figured out already, and is taking care of you. He has never let you down, and won’t start now. He’s coming back. Are you ready? God bless. God is so beyond amazing.
Thanks- I will let my son Billy know to address Jaime on his channel. Billy has an intellectual disability but loves all things golf... Especially long drive!
Just trying to hit a ball on the upswing is a challenge...I've found that the Matt Kuchar hover works...holding the driver level with the ball at address, instead of grounding it...try it sometime....should give you 20 more yards in distance and more roll. You will want to play the ball off your front foot, instead of your front heal...or off the big toe of your lead foot.
Humbling. Leaves me knowing I truly don't have a clue how to really crush it. You'd think a wonder like this would be able to compete on the PGA Tour, but evidently not.....
lol..why does be able to hit the ball that far make u think hed be able to compete on tour?? Jamie has unbelievable hand eye coordination and really is a freak athlete but there is a million dimensions to playing top level golf besides being able to hit it that far..If he had started young trying to be a competitive golfer and not a long driver, who knows, he might hit it good enough to be on tour, but that still doesnt take into account putting. And if you have 34 putts a round it doesnt matter how good you hit it, youll never be on tour.
***** He has the talent for PGA I'd say. I bet he has the ability, just need to see the short game and putting. If it's not good enough, i'm sure he can make it work.
@@63Bueno hes played in a few events...shoots generally low 70s, not good enough to make the cut but definitely can play at that level...even with an amateur level short game...if ur drive it 400 in play it's hard to imagine a guy this coordinated and athletic cant figure out how to do some basic chipping, pitching, and putting...he probably just doesnt care to put any time into it
I dont think you can appreciate how hard this is unless you play golf.
Amen to that!
Seriously, it is really hard sh** to be able to have done all the tricks he pulled on this video without any errors.
Hitting a putter like that is unreal.

the 4 iron off of the iphone was crazy
what time is that at? I can't watch this guy hit twice my distances for 20 minutes just to get to it.
What is really impressive is his stamina. That was a lot of swings at 130-140mph club head speed. Dang that dude is a beast.
No shit, pretty much explosive power over a very long time frame.
Yea I usually tire out after about 25 swings and my consistent drops like crazy
Jamie: "Every club I hit goes 300 except the driver."
I have watched this at least 15 times now. Absolutely amazing.
Wes Smiley same

caddy - "we should just lay up about 270 here"
jamie - "ok give me a gap wedge"
5 iron huh? Well you’re fired. Buh bye.
I'm thinking this guy can hit anything
"How do you fix a slice?" -J.S.
"Drink." -Spectator
Can’t believe no one laughed at that lol
Wish there was pro tracer on this
@Daniel Meister yes it would. long drive comps have it
The iPhone trick shocked me..... Major props for the showmanship!!!!
Man is seriously talented, coordinated, imaginative and entertaining and he should just keep on doing what he seems to love doing.
His swing is SO amazing
It's like the Harlem Globetrotter of golf. Great show.
lol, putter drives longer than my driver
Are you blind? Look from 03.00-04.00........
+Richard Nilsson
Are you stupid? He said Jamie's putter hits it farther than HIS driver... Not Jamie's driver...
@@rikardnilsson2413 ur a moron
Richard Nilsson lol - flattened, lofted and regular grip - or maybe not??
so you're telling me this dude shoots longer with his putter than my driver ????
wtf
I mean, the putter has less loft...
He hits longer than my driver with a pitching wedge
Always come back to this video and have been for so many years.

This was awesome. Thanks for sharing
One of the best videos ever
my mind is completely blown
Sick hand eye coordination.
18:05 Cue the cocky Indian guy who still has his glove on hours after everyone has finished playing.
Would be pretty funny Jamie shank the shot to him.
What a demonstration! Pure pro and showing why. Love it!
freaking unreal- Jamie great guy - and this demo crazy great

if there is ever a 1 club tournament - this guy will win!!
What a showman! This is awesome.
Would love to see him play 18 holes in Playing Lessons

Agree, his full swing is absolutely as good if not better than any tour pro there has ever been...full swing that is
Jamie is the perfect example of why distance doesn't translate to wining tournaments. If it did he'd be the best ever.
Right? I just don't see how you couldn't be on tour with your second shot in wedge range minimum everytime (and especially for him since he hits his PW like 190)

Incredible display of skill.

Freaking Amazing....
Pretty damn amazing
very cool! sent it to my golfer buddies.
This is fuckin incredible!! Jamie is the Best bro!!! Bring back Grandpa part 3👍👍👍
Skill shines through in a very entertaining way.
amazing
He's a good player. He needs to get back on tour with those drives
makes me SO jealous! I'm starting to hit around 240...but, I'm 55...and I'm not unhappy...but, would love to be able to hit as smoothly as he does!
Very good..
Enjoyed it.
If I swang that hard for that long , I'd be hospitalised for a year.
Awesome display and hilarious.
Jamie, come to Toronto's Buskerfest!!!
I play at Baltusrol on my high school team. I live in that town
these shots take some skill. he's quite the golfer
The GOAT
Dudes talented
Really entertaining show! :D
What is wrong with him? Jamie is absolutely AMAZING.
I was so disappointed he did not finish in October in Las Vegas...
That shot of the iphone has to be one of the most impressive things ive ever seen.
Great Skills
Small guy gets so much torque off his swing it's sick just absolutely kills it
Super talented.
Jamie "And For My Next Trick" Sadlowski!!!
fkn awesome.
Hurts my back watching it.....
funny golf clinic session, loved it
330 with a 3 wood? I quit
Baummerr don’t worry he’s hit it much farther
A good friend of mine tried to tell me he hit 330 with a 3 wood. Maybe I'll see him on tour next.
294 with his putter😂😂😂

jamie representing canada well!
fucking amazing
He has crazy ball striking ability to pull these shots off
Hand eye coordination is off the charts
