  • You've seen that violent swing. You've seen him win TWO World Long Drive Championships.
    Now watch former Long Drive Team Member Jamie Sadlowski go through his checklist of trick shots, which includes:
    - Hitting the lower left golf ball out of a dozen package 260 yards (with a 3 wood)
    - The (failed) rising golf ball off a liter of cola
    - The 331-yard off the knees shot
    - The high tee shot to a flag that's 75 yards away
    - Hitting through three different thicknesses of plywood
    - Hitting the top ball out of a sleeve 280 yards
    Watch more of Jamie's trick shots here: www.xrspeed.com

      I am really late, but concussions and jaw issues can be caused by biting really hard, so when he gets that power, he bites down really hard to be able to get enough power to get through, so the mouthguard protects his teeth as well as his brain. Same reason youth hockey players wear mouthguards with a cage at the same time, not to protect against broken teeth, but to protect against concussions.

    • @MrEazyE357
      @MrEazyE357 5 лет назад

      @@bmil38 Oh come on. This doesn't really require a mouth guard. Go out and swing something as hard as you can. Did you need a friggin mouth guard? Case closed. I'd really love to hear his explanation for this. There's a big difference in hockey players wearing one (most don't wear masks anyway) and needing one to swing a driver.

    • @bmil38
      @bmil38 5 лет назад +1

      @@MrEazyE357 swing a club really hard and pay attention to your mouth, do you clench your teeth? Bet you do... YOU might not be able to swing a club as hard as this guy, but you still bite down. Now bite down really hard. Does it start to hurt? it might, but think how much effort he is putting into that swing. It might not be 100% for concussions, but also protecting his teeth from damage from that bite... A mouth guard is a shock absorber. You know what causes a concussion? shock to the head. The lower jaw can cause that on occasion. You know what breaks teeth? Shock to the teeth... in fact, shock and pressure is what breaks most things...
