Стас Иванов, it was certainly recorded in the studio at the time, and potentially even recorded again for the full production of Herzeleid, before Rammstein decided to drop it.
Enki Stößt, what? Really? I heard only cover for it (in my opinion, this is the best cover)
Стас Иванов Yes, there is no reason to believe they never recorded it, especially since it was a very well developed track, and a staple of their live shows back then. They recorded damn near everything else, including Alter Mann, and they even recorded two seperate demos of Schwarzes Glas.
Now of course, the only "studio" versions of the song you'll ever get to hear are just covers, because nothing else is available online.
Enki Stößt, yeah, Alter Mann. Goddamn good demo song. I remember, when I heard snipped of it. I don’t know why they didn’t released "Alter Mann" from 1994. They chose 1996 version instead of 1994 :(

Its not a mutter instrumental. It has parts that were reused for mutter
The tape is for sale now. It costs £400. I'm in shock
Mr Hprv3 it was thought to be a very early version of Mutter for a little while, but there was really no way to prove it, so RammWiki decided to go back to calling it the "Unknown Instrumental." Which I agree with. We'll just have to wait for another chance to ask Richard about it
No one knows, really. The release of either song isn't planned as far as I'm aware.
