You remind me of me dad, in a way,he could build absolutely anything.I miss him so much,i’m a bricklayer but i think im just a house basher these days,he taught me so much, building arches from scratch loads of restoration work,my dad was a proper old school trowel, and ive been laying bricks for 30yrs and never have met the likes of someone like him, because they are not around anymore, just house bashing to earn a living. Its hard work but it pays the mortgage and bills and extra for a few beers.Keep it going mate 👍🏻
Lovely stuff mate! Glad to see someone else is still rockin shorts😂👌 Love the look of them bricks, and do you lads always do big corners with profiles and then run the bulk in? I guess it saves loading out loads of muck👌🍻
Ah ha! The old perp the first brick down on the corner lol. I do this job all day and end up finding my self watching other people doing it when I should be making better of my time. It is a satisfying job but it can be a fing ball ache!
well best way doing corners that 10 brick 🧱 one way 11 other🧱21 hight two bricks so much easer conserve more energy for one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️A had to finish working 18 month back health issue was on site private houses 🏠 etc for 35 years great to watch you lads building 🧱🧱good brickies no the job inside out propper set up everything ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️great work lads
Meet the gang cause the boys are here the boys to entertain you with music and laughter to send you on your way were raising the rafters with a hey hey hey😄😄😄😘
I don't like loads of boards out with muck going of, get the corner up and get the profile down not saying it's the right way just the way I like to do it 👍
@Jeff Red66 this is by far the most efficient way off building brickwork in a 2 in 1 gang. As already stated, you don't have too keep knocking the compo up, it is also easier too keep on top off the pointing instead off having a full gable off brickwork going off on you. If there is 3 or 4 off you then I agree it would be better too just run it in, however for a 2 in 1 this is by far the most efficient way to build👍🏻

Well said ,your dad must of been quite a man a good parent and role model you keep on house bashing and stay safe from a fellow trowel
Love the different colours of the bricks. Looks classy 👍👍
Proper old school, quietly getting on with it, no shouting at the hoddy, working at your own pace.
Only way to go 👍

Yea mate we always keep it close, I hate loads of boards with muck going of, we two big corners up of Blake's then run it in.

Hi andy, I know on this build the blockwork has gone up first was that due to the brick delay or is that your thing
Brick delay, prefer to do the Bwk first if I can. 👍
