  • This is a fun Photoshop tutorial that’s going to teach you how to create Pop Art in the style of the famous silk screen prints by Andy Warhol. It’s really good practice and is actually being made in requests I get from school teachers. Every art student in the country want to create pop art portraits and this is a great way to get that look using Photoshop.

Something I hadn't thought of doing but what a great 'rainy-day' project......I will be giving this a try in my photo editor (which isn't PS or LR). Thanks Marc 👍

I used to be able to do this with a darkroom when I was a teenager.

Why do you use a mask mode and then a brush? Wouldn't it be faster to use "Select mask" and then "select subject"? Just curious. Great tutorial :D!

Thanks Catherine, doing it this way will give that 'not perfect' edge which matches the originals better.
