    I love Pop Art, it's one of my favorite techniques, and I have created a great way to achieve this effect using Adobe Photoshop. Digital retouching is always the answer!!!

    we had an art competition at work with 30+ entries. Most of them degreed artists (not me) working in a grahic arts environment. But using your tutorial and a popular cat picture I found via google, I won 1st place. Of course there was no money in my pocket, the $150 went to charity. Couldn't have done it without you!! thanks so much for the awesome tut!

    Excellent tutorial. Very well explained. A tip for you. Add an adjustment layer to each layer and "clip" it to the layer below. That way you can go back and adjust the hue/sat for each layer everytime you want to change colours

    Can anyone explain, when I use the brush to highlight an area for colouring, I have to do a whole area in one click of the mouse, otherwise I end up with differing shades where the brush crosses over itself. I hope this makes sense

  • @paulanucci412
    @paulanucci412 9 лет назад +2

    I noticed that if I lift my mouse while coloring in with gray if I stop it's not consistent. Does that make sense? Like if I want to go in and paint in with gray when an image has more detail you can actually see where you lifted the paint brush and continued.
    Any way around this??

    • @odysseykid93
      @odysseykid93 6 лет назад +1

      Make sure that the brush hardness and opacity are both at 100%. I know this comment was from 3 years ago, but maybe it will help someone else with the same issue you had.

However, all the time I have a struggle with one issue - after making new layers with various parts of the picture (such as make up, background, face etc.) I cannot select the option Hue/Saturation. It really grinds my gears, I haven't got a clue what's the problem? Any piece of advice will be helpful! Cheers! :)
