Hard to pick a fave. I really love the subtlety of the first print. The bleached black and whites were great. However, I guess if I were to pick favorites or maybe a favorite technique it is the wax! This is the most inspiring video I've seen in a while with regard to photography! Fabulous and have a great 2022. I know this video provides just the challenge and inspiration I need to start my year in a good way. Thank you.
The first one was so gorgeous!! Your work already looks like old oil paintings in staging and posing but now the print really does look like it could be hanging in an art museum in the 1500-1600 year eras.
The first Mod Podge and the embroidery. The embroidery I have never done. Bleach On sepia would have the feel of a large-format camera like Sally Manns camera and photos.
Your creativity never stop to amaze me. The first one is my favorite technique, I love the old oil paint finish it gives to the print. The last one, the embroidery, the work you've done for the result is impressive
The first image / technique and the last image / technique are my favorites, by a lot. Absolutely amazed by what you did with the yarn embroidered flowers. Also blown away with the quality and beauty of the portraits that you start out with. And blown away at how hard you must work at your photography and producing content. Just basically amazed by a lot of things about you and what you accomplish!
I got so excited when I saw the instastories about these! I love what you did with every single one of them, mixed media seems so fascinating to me and I want to try it so badly!
You are getting close Irene, keep up the experiments, it is cool, but I am quite sure it should not be distracting, I think contrast is the key here as always.
If you like experimenting, try using tea to dye the paper /background also soy sauce for a darker wood look. So many items in our homes that we can use to awaken our art! I absolutely love it!
All very interesting techniques. I’ve been wanting to try something like this for a while The wax was very beautiful with the gold and the bleach gave such an ethereal look 🙏
Hi Irene such beautiful photos as you take this technique as you present are just messed up. I love your photos as they are. Irena, if you can and would like to suggest what settings you use in your Canon R5 AF, I will be very grateful. I'm waiting for your next videos and photos. You are a great portrait photographer, it feels like your passion, you put your whole heart into what you do.
Nice surprise! I really liked the first picture and the first wax picture the best! With the second picture (gold) I feel you overdid a little for my taste ;-). But really cool ideas and results and again a video I love! Have a great new year! 🙂
I really like the one that you sowed the yarn in the photo I would like to try that technique I would think it gives it a three d effect. Thank you and Happy New Year
You might want to watch a couple of Marti Osner’s vids. (Not sure I spelled his name correctly). He does some work like this. Great vid, very creative work & an excel Kenny way to take one’s photography to another dimension.
I liked the first one the best. Also liked the bleaching technique. Didn’t you try drawing with a gold pen on the photo? I thought I saw that in an Instagram story. Anyway, great inspiration all around, thanks for sharing.
Which print was your favourite?

Also, if you varnish your art, it will protect all the paint you applied on the pictures and protect it from dust and moisture.

Where do I get the acrylic paint you used? You did not list that above. Thanks
It’s just beautiful
Does the wax stay on the paper long term? I imagine it might flake and peel off?
You might want to watch a couple of Marti Osner’s vids. (Not sure I spelled his name correctly). He does some work like this. Great vid, very creative work & an excel Kenny way to take one’s photography to another dimension.
