  • Step by step guide to streaming music and playlists from your computer. This method enables lossless WiFi streaming of any music library and allows you to stream music from multiple libraries, for example Itunes music and playlists, combined with Ripped CD's and downloaded high definition music FLAC or DSD files.
The music is aggregated and organized automatically by Artist, Album, Genre and Playlist regardless of the source library or file format.
Playback is controlled by a single smartphone app for all different playback devices. Music may stream to a Sonus speaker, A Chromecast enabled TV, any network music streamer, or an A/V reciever which has WiFi built in. Any Stereo system can be used by attaching a music streamer to an Aux input. A good choice for this is a device called Wiim Mini which is featured in the video.
The Phone Apps I used were HiFi Cast for Android, and 8player pro for Apple, these apps may be found on the respective platform app stores.
The Computer App used is Serviio which is a lightweight background service that starts automatically and runs seamlessly. Versions are available for Windows, Mac and Linux. The free version is all that is needed for simple music streaning. Link to Download Here:
