    Hi,kindly advise on how to control vole using optical connection between lg tv and receiver.

      Generally an optical connection is fixed volume so it is necessary to use the receiver remote to control the volume at the receiver itself. This is where a universal remote is beneficial since it can be programmed to automatically send the volume and mute commands to the receiver and the input and program navigation commands to the TV so you only need one remote.

    I want to learn the IR data of a ACORN 130 T700 Stair Chair Lift. I have an old URC9910 learning remote. It learns the IR data with a SUCCESS message. The problem is the original
    remote sends a continuous stream of IR to tell the chair to go up or down and keep it going up or down. The Learning remote only sends out a burst of an IR. I listen to the data on a AM radio tuned down
    to around 530 KHz and it sounds just like the original except it doesn't continuously send the IR signal. Do you know of any IR Learning remotes that will reproduce another IR remote
    and offer continuous streaming while I am holding down the learned button?

      An AV remote control is not designed to do what you need. I did a quick Google search of the name of your stair lift with the word "parts" and saw that remotes can be purchased. definitely better idea than trying to use an AV remote.

      @@rogergadgetguywell it turns out my old Home Master Theater SL-9000 Learning IR remote was able to learn the chair lift stock remote. I programmed the volume up/down for up/down of the chair lift. I now believe any learning remote with decent storage memory should work.
      The only difference is the ACORN remote has 4 IR LEDs
      giving plenty of transmit range

    Can I used on android projector?

    • @rogergadgetguy
      @rogergadgetguy  11 месяцев назад

      Hi Francisco. I am not familiar with that projector but if it uses an Infra red remote and you still have the working remote then the universal learning remote can learn the codes from the projector remote (You can test if the remote is an infra red type, Put your hand over the top of the remote so no light signal can escape. If the remote stops working then it is the infra red type and the universal remote should work. If itt keeps working with your hand covering the end then it is an rf type and cannot be replaced with the remote I show in the video)

    What's the code for Twinpower

    • @rogergadgetguy
      @rogergadgetguy  4 месяца назад

      Hi, I don't know the code for Twinpower or een if that brand is supported iwith a number code for this remote. If there is no code then you would need to have a remote of that brand to train the learning remote.

      I do feel your pain. Before I discover what works, I usually go through many things that should work, but either don’t actually work, or only work some of the time, or are so frustrating to get working that it just isn’t worth the effort. I post these videos at the end of that process of learning, intending that nobody should have to go through the trouble I went through. There are many millions of combinations of devices out there, and I can’t test all the possibilities. If you or any other viewer finds a situation that looks like what I have shown but it doesn’t work, it may be helpful to others to share specifics about the devices and what was tried. I’m like everyone else--I learn from failure!
