As promised, made a quickie guide for typical online DVJ problems I'm seeing people struggle with even in advanced ranks. Also while it's just a replay, that's some gameplay for now, will try to upload some sets and maybe talk over them so I can give a personal POV and it's not just me mishimashing ahaha Hope you guys learn something from this :D

Thanks for this bro - I encountered a Fujin DVJ today and he literally kept spamming this new torpedo thing over and over again which I blocked, but then he’d go straight for a throw mix up.
It was infuriating because he literally couldn’t block anything when it was my turn - not even basic strings.
I was absolutely destroying him but then he decided to start pulling this crap and I just couldn’t seem to find a way around it…. Sidestepping wasn’t working, ducking didn’t work and blocking left me forced to deal with a throw mix up or a 50 50.
I’ll just jab next time and hope that works 😂
There's a timing to when you can sidewalk it after the blockstun but it needs labbing, but glad the tip helped and yeah I see this problem alot so you're not alone on this. The DVJs that are higher up in our region don't do this as much anymore but it's definitely a big knowledge check due to the game still being really new.
@@Raijinmei He’s probably been carried all the way to Fujin by it judging by the rest of his gameplay lol. I was gonna lab it in my replays later but then strangely your video popped up… perfect timing.
But yeah your right, the game is still so new so you can still quite easily fall prey to silly knowledge checks even at a high-ish level.
@@Skeksi_Man Unfortunately alot of this case is happening right now, not just for him but a lot of characters, so practicing how to counter them is really gonna come into play down the line if we wanna improve :) wishing you well on your rank grind ^-^

Owh boy I’m not very pro 🙃 also a lot of the Japanese, Koreans, we can somewhat match with Pakistan too actually and our local top players are hovering around High blues to Tekken King right now, I’d be more honored to get pwned if I ever even reached that rank ahaha 😅👍
