Great video. Would have been good to cover the cons (is there stress? dealing with rude clients? long hours?) and what kind of people tech sales isn't for.
@@trackerign the job I have now has minimal stress, I don't talk to patients, I work 9-5 in the comfort of my own home. I'm paid 122k. Sounds like you haven't had a good job before
@@chanell2015 I'm a pharmacist that's works remotely in specialty. I'm in a rare situation. I wouldn't recommend new people becoming a pharmacist because it's saturated. If I were to do it all over again, I would be a PA, ARNP, anesthesiologist assistant, or software engineer.

Software devs have a 25% projected growth for the next 10 years, while tech sales only 8%, and I did hear that the market is kind of over saturated for both
@@jaggeryreviews9869 every sales position is going to have a dark side. normally, when there's more money on the line, it is going to be more demanding for meeting certain analytics. higher risk, higher reward. not always the case, but certainly can be.
I'm wondering since I'm in college still I'd like to wait til I graduate to pursue it. Do you think the high opportunity that is currently available right now would still be the same around mid 2024 or would my odds of getting hired with no relevant experience go down drastically? I do have the option to graduate a semester early, so be done by the end of 2023. I don't know if that'd make a difference or if I shouldn't worry too much about the availability.
Great thing about tech is companies are always getting funded so they will need to expand. Certain sectors will slow hiring like many companies have recently, others will come out and gain market share. Best thing to do is network within the industry and keep on top of trends.
I think it depends on that specific person. Some might be better at communicating with other people so tech sales would be a great choice but for some people that is not really into socializing then digital marketing is a better option.
Tech sales if you like more technical products like cloud coding software where digital marketing is more focused on Crm, studying marketing how consumers buy and more into marketing related products.

Its money but there is a dark ugly side to it very ugly very stressful very demanding
