Stand on my driver shaft, ...I don't think so! My alignment stick maybe...
The jacket you're wearing, Marcus, really shows the disassociation between shoulders and pelvis @10:45. You should use that in a video.

Thanks Marcus, love the way you look at golf in a completely different way to other teachers. Just hope this is what I’ve been searching for.

Same here… i would try to get my wrist bowed to close the face after seeing other youtubers explanations….it would work sporadically but because i was still releasing my hands like i did when “flicking” the club head through impact i would get 1 great shot to like 5 or more “anything goes” type shots as i like to call em…could be a then id try to release less and get high right push or push with a slice on top of it, or some other type pop up shot that goes anywhere but where i want it to and only 50-100 yrds lol ..so i reverted backto the “flicking “ the head at the ball with lower hands/shaft (which seems to fight the slice)all just to get maybe 15-20 yrds further than my 5i…(avg 235 ish) with some shots thatd be out of bounds still🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ ..cant wait to try this release …it seems to make the most sense sitting here watching it …hope it translates to the range for me 🤞🏻🤞🏻👍🏼✌️

Been out today working on this, (Been working on all your drills for weeks). But i've seen massive improvments with my driver. I've not played at all for a few years and your videos have been inspirational in me finding a functional game. I used always fade/slice everything now all i can do is draw or pull draw everything but i feel everything is much morein control and in doing this totally cut off the left side (im a lefty) of the course. After taking these tip today on the range was hitting 230-250 carry so added a solid 15-20yrds, ok not everything was perfect when i miss hit i was catching the heel of the club and getting squirty low right balls but quickly recognised why. (swinging club head too far out and over top of the ball). but I just want to say a huge thank you for the work you do and putting the help out there for guys like me to learn from. I would still love to come for a lesson which am planning on doing in the next few months, as theres only so far youtube can take me i guess. but anyway thanks guys really appreciate your efforts and you've managed to bring me back into the game and allowed to find the fun in it again.

Pure genius drill for the driver. I hit draws with it for the first time in my life. Do you have a similar drill to feel the arc of the irons? Thank you

Dynamic & Brilliant Teaching! I’m forgetting the static positions. Thank you for showing how the pros MOVE!, not how they position.

Another excellent tutorial on the Driver. Can you please do a similar one for Irons?

Fabulous. I never thought about this other than trying to turn over the hands somewhere in the release. Question. Why doesn’t this happen in other longer clubs, i.e. 5 and up?

Cold there in Scotland. I got a heated vest last Winter. Worth its weight in gold, as is your instruction.

@@GRFGolf It feels more like the slingshot effect, you sometimes talk about.

Definitely think I need the first one, I actually struggle with supination in my left forearm ( right feels easier)
Been pretty inconsistent with my driver swing and haven't really given much thought to the arms releasing

If only I can get this to work it will solve my many years of push/slicing. Let’s see.

Going to have to work on this over the next few months before I put the driver back in the bag. Two way miss is killing my scores

In working on pressure moves, I have forgotten to release my arms. Big blocks, slices. Per usual I swallow all the medicine. I need this to balance it out.😅

I'm the exact same, caught between making my arms loose and completely switched off🤣

how do you control the supination to avoid turning it into a hook. Thats what ultimately happens to me.

Thank you Marcus. Your instruction is hands down the best on the internet. Can’t wait to try this swing drill. Your ground up teaching has already improved my distance and ball striking immensely!

With drivers going for over $400 nowadays it might not be a good idea to stand on the shaft, it would be better to get an old iron or putter.😃😃😃😃

off topic here for a second….why is it in Europe “tee’s”are called “tee pegs”? Seems sort of like a redundancy . Meaning tee or peg could both be interchangeable as a label….or am i the only one that finds it odd? Iam a “ strange dude “ so maybe its just me it sounds strange to…👍🏼✌️🏌🏼
About the video subject matter: back in the day ,there was a hot minute where i bought a lot of online video lesson packages..hank haney , jim mclean as well as a few other not well known ones… for the most part they all suggested to me (in their own way )to not let the body go and get arms ahead of my rotation to help close the face…well I don’t know if i did it wrong or it was bad advice but it did lil to nothing to help my driver…. lol ….i see you saying basically the same thing but in a different way/order so we get that hook … then move the body to make it more a draw instead of the hook..this , done in the order you set here …makes sense to me ,finally! Thanks for this lesson imo its a great one i cant wait to try at the range !👍🏼✌️🏌🏼
