WRC Rally Sweden 2024 - Special Stages 9 + 12 - Vännäs

- 15,65 km long stage with elevation difference of 130 m. The stage is a countryside/forest stage with the start near Hössjö and the end close to Hjåggsjö. This is a new stage for the 2024 WRC rally. Part of the road has been used in the Swedish national rally tournament when it was hosted in Vännäs 2018.
Some parts of this stage are fast and some parts gonna be tricky and narrow for the drivers. There are some parts with steep elevations, both up and down.
I had some difficulties filming this one due to some obstacles.
Part of stage will be the same as Stig A and Robin E drove in the darkness back in the 2018 Rally. I could not drive this fast during filming.

New start on the stage, 80m later, new route at 3,93-4,53 km (turn left at 3:53, and back on route at 3:58).

Så lite så. Börjar att brännas nu! Nu skall man bara själv bestämma vart man vill stå å se på rallyt.
Tack för filmen, va lite snö det är jämfört med Bygdsiljumsträckan.
Har filmat de två sträckorna för ett bra tag sedan så är mer snö nu på båda ställena. Hoppas nu att blidvädret ger isbasen alla önskar på sträckorna.

@@antonholmqvist1241 Japp! Den har mycket av vad man kan önska av en rallyväg. Snabbt, tekniskt, krön, nedsför och nått gupp eller två.
Bad news, the downhill at 13:45 maybe all the way to the treeline at the finish will be off limits to spectators. I heard from locals that a forrestry company that owns the surrounding land has planted new trees, and has therefore forbidden spectators from being there.
And there are apparently signs all the way down the hill.
So unless you can recce it yourself to check if its off limits all the way before the stage closes at 18:00 on friday, i would look for another spot. Sucks, but what can you do.
Super thanks for local info. Lets hope spectators respekt the no go zone. Now i understand why there where no parkingplace close to the end.
@@jorgenhansson7264Never thought i would be thankful facebook existed haha. Yeah, hopefully this information gets out there so people dont go there on saturday, and and end up having to find another spot.

Så lite så! När jag filmade så var det tänkt en annan rutt som inte var skottad och därigenom filmades. Var inte så lång del så tyckte inte att det gjorde så mycket att den saknades. Med tanke på att den delen nu ändrats så var det rätt att lämna den.
Har för inte så länge sedan fått information om den lilla sträckändringen vid 3,9 km från Rally Maps och därför uppdaterat texten.
Det visste jag inte, tack för uppdatering.
Den nya delen med "hästskon" där de svänger vänster vid 3:53 var med i Rally Vännas 2018. Finns video från sträckan på den biten.

Hello Jörgen, thank you for the video ! Do you think the 7:30 min part is accessible for spectators with quite a lot of camera gear ? If not is there a place you'd recommand thats not to hard to access ? Thank you !
There will be a spectator area at the junction at 6:30. From there to the time you said it is aprox 1 km. Aprox 500 meters from parking. Looking like 2 snowmobile areas around there to. One close to the junction and one where they exit the forest. I dont have acess to their plans on spectatorfree areas due to saftey so that might be an problem to access that place.
Next spectator area with parking is around 8:40. A little forest stretch there to. 100-600 meters from parking by the looks of it. Hard to know the sweet spots for the first year run on the stages. Hope you´ll find yours!

I was at the stage today. It looks like there will be a spectator area to the right side of the road from 7:46 to 8:16. There will probably be a safety distance to the road about 10 meters but I think there is some good spots there. For example when the cars come out of the forest at 7:46 or at 8:00 and 8:06 (small bump). The hill up to the radio tower would be a cool place also but unfortunately it will be a restricted area.

Konstigt billjud........varför musik på filmen.......
Är inget biljud på för att det låter illa vid ljudupptagningen i samband med filmning. Musik har jag för att det inte skall vara tyst. Laborerar med olika styrkor på musiken då jag redigerar. Har haft lagt in rallyljud istället för musik men det blev jag inte nöjd med. Tack för din åsikt
