- Rally Sweden hosted by Umeå for the third year had lots of snow (Maybe too much on Friday) and rock hard snowbanks in places, but sunny weather to end the rally over the two last days made it an enjoyable event in the end.

Galet väder på fredag och sen typ samma väder vi haft de två tidigare åren. Blev ett intressant vinterrally men tyvärr favoritfall som gjorde att riktiga spänningen försvann för WRC1. Bra med action ändå ute i skogen med de övriga klasserna. Bra gjort som vanligt!
Ja, tråkigt med Fredag, men det ble heldigvis bra på Lørdag og Søndag!

These cars "only" do about 195kph because of the gearing, most of the time it's fast enough

what is that squeakie sound these cars make when breaking?
Turbo flutter when they release the gas pedal.
Certain era cars have the dolphin sounding turbo
Wastegate releases the pressure when the throttle closes.
@@user-vj8mx9mg8f So this "wastegate" is a valve that opens so that the turbo does not have too much preasure in it when releasing the gas pedal?
@@StrayFire Yes and no, that is the purpose of a wastegate. But the sound in the video is not from the wastegate. Its from the turbo caused by backpressure. Pressurised air is forced over the blades in the turbo as the air has nowhere to go. Its called turbo flutter. Which is bad for the turbo. Anti lag is even worse, but when you're chasing milliseconds, turbo longevity isnt a concern.
