10/04/2019 Riverhead House Fire

House fire in Riverhead, Friday October 4, 2019.
At approx. 3:15 p.m. authorities were notified of a fire in a mobile home, located on Pond Drive, near Pond Lane, in the Riverwoods Mobile Home Park.
The Southampton Police Dept., NY State Troopers, Riverhead Fire Dept., Flanders-Northampton, and Riverhead Ambulance responded.
One of the occupants were injured and taken by ambulance to a local hospital. The home was destroyed and a neighboring house was damaged from the heat of the fire.
Numerous agencies were called to the scene to provide assistance.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, and the Southampton Town Fire Marshal is investigating.
