Praise God for this wonderful word. I long to be with Jesus. I am in constant pain from Lyme disease and this week I have had asthma. In a brief moment, Jesus could take me home. How wonderful that will be. This put a smile on my face. Thank you Joni for your faithfulness to our Lord.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. AND THE DEAD IN CHRIST WILL RISE FIRST. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. AMEN
Rest, yes we will rest, as death is like sleep (1 Corinthians 15:18) , UNTIL the Voice and Trumpet of God sounds to raise all who died in Christ FIRST....
Let's get it right please....yes we who trust in God and die before Jesus comes will NOT go ahead into heaven before those living...Yes we still have hope for His 2nd coming.
