Companion Planting Basil with Tomatoes

I planted some basil around my tomato plants today. Basil is great in cooking and teas. It also helps keep pests away from the tomato plants and reduces mosquito problems. It is said that tomatoes can actually pick up some flavor from the basil to enhance the tomato flavor.
