You keep talking about the importance of wide FOV, and yet, the widest FOV of all POE Reolink cameras is mere 105 degrees, whereas many WiFi cameras feature 130 degrees or even more. 4k resolution of many POE cameras allows to capture more details in wide FOV than your own 2k WiFi cameras, why not take advantage of that and combine these two valuable characteristics into one great POE camera?
I am unable to see the Riolink RLC-1212A on the Canadian website? I was going to order two RLC-811A with an NVR but I think the 1212A's would be better suited to my continuous 24/7 recording needs? Where do I find them? Are they the latest and greatest?
The difference between 811A and 1212A is the resolution, one is 8MP and the other is 12MP. Now due to production issues, the 1212A is not available. While for continuous 24/7 recording, 811A is enough to cover.
Which reolink NVR would I want to buy if I buy 4 of your poe cameras and I wanted to increase the internal capacity to lets say 12 terabytes. I don't want to mess with external storage as I want everything confined to one NVR.
Hello, thanks for reaching out. Reolink 8-channel NVR RLN8-410 (reolink.com/product/rln8-410/ ) might meet your needs. You can change the pre-installed 2TB HDD to a 6TB HDD and add another 6TB HDD to the NVR to get 12TB storage for the NVR.
@@ReolinkCameras Thanks but we decided to buy ring cameras because we're not technically inclined to be messing with changing or upgrading hard drives.
@@ReolinkCameras A friend of my wife told me about you because he recently bought your system but after exploring your products I've concluded I'm a push a button kind of person so Ring will suffice for me as everyone in my neighborhood has Ring cameras and like them. I wish you all the best.
A side by side comparison of the vertical and horizontal field of view of non-motorized cameras would've been much more useful. The latest cameras only have 44 degrees vertical, whereas the older ones had 58 degrees... which is preventing many people from upgrading to 4k versions (example : RLC520 vs RLC820). In many situations, field of view is much more important than resolution or gimmicky AI features. This video is more of an advertisement than informative.
You made Videocameras. This is my second video from you i watchted and its just bad. Lower your audio gain next time please and proofe your record bevor you hop full into it.

Cool, we will forward your suggestion to our engineers! Thanks!

What will be the focal length of the upcoming 16X camera? I'm hoping for 2.8mm at the wide end but I really doubt that will be the case.
For now the detailed info of 16X camera has not published yet.
@@ReolinkCameras Thank you for replying.
@@Pro1er You're welcome.
