The video is basically a visual metaphor for the struggle with acceptance when you're facing imminent death and maybe some undertones of unresolved mental issues. The lyrics are a moment to moment description of the pov process of having an aneurysm.
As for other reccomendations on where to start with this band it depends on what you're looking for, early stuff like Destroy Erase Improve has a lot of influences from Jazz, Prog metal and Thrash metal. But after Chaosphere and Nothing they cemented their own style entirely, focusing a lot more on groove and an overall bleak and oppressive atmosphere. Most later albums have sickeningly distorted and guttural downtuned guitars lines centered around this groove while still incorporating a lot of the chaotic song structures and syncopation from their previous albums.
Violent Sleep of Reason and Koloss especially have a super dirty sound.
Snoop around long enough and you'll fall down the rabbit hole for sure. When it clicks, it clicks, not a question of if (in my experience). Took me years to wrap my pea-brain around their quirky approach to songwriting.
