Thank you. I have an A4 b7 tdi, there is power at the connector on the car and when I put 12 volts on the pump like this it turns fine. However it won’t pump on the car.
What was the reason for checking the pump. My a4 diesel is fine in the mornings as soon as car heats up glow plug light flashes and car keeps cutting off. Leave it for 30mins then starts fine drive 2kms and it does the same again. Now could it be of it warms up it stops working or do i have faulty glo plugs.
It won't be the glow plugs as if they didn't work it would be hard to start in the first place, and to cheak the pump just remove the cover exposing it, then start the car and listen to the noise the pump makes i would expect to hear the tone change just before the car cuts out if its the pump
@@Martysworkshop the car runs fine even though the glow plug light flashes its just when the car warms up after driving like 2 to 3 kms the light starts flashing then driving like 15kms it starts to jerk, it also just cuts off at traffic lights i have tested the glow plugs they all give a ohm reading of between 0.3 and 1.0. when it fist happened i changed the glow plugs that were faulty and i drove about 60kms before it started again. its just very confusing. i will check the pump tonight when my wife gets home from work. thanks for all your great videos
@@Martysworkshop another thing is if the light came on flashing the car does struggle to start when i leave it over night it starts easy again. thats what confuses me can the pump get hot so quickly in less than 2kms

for diesel 2009- audi a4 you should run pump for 60 secounds and have at least 3.5 bar
