    Stitch pattern
    Multiples of 16 + 3 (optional edge stitches)
    Row 1 - (RS) *P2, K6; rep from * to last 2 stitches, P2
    Row 2 - * K2, P6; rep from * to last 2 stitches, K2
    Row 3 - As row 1
    Row 4 -As row 2
    Row 5 - As row 1
    Row 6 - As row 2
    Row 7 - * P2, slip 2 sts onto cable needle and hold at back, slip 2 sts onto cable needle and hold at front, K2, Knit 2 sts on front cable needle, Knit 2 sts on back cable needle; rep from * to last 2 sts, P2
    Row 8 - As row 2
    Repeat these 8 rows

    Now all I need to do is translate this information Russian/ Eastern style knitting. I find Eastern throwing method the most confusing, most time-consuming, most motion/effort making, halting stop-start way of progressing through a project did I have ever tried to do. Other methods of knitting are so much easier, especially Russian and Portuguese.
