Lol I'm a school teacher and I'm extremely cautious with a high level of anxiety when we have to go to the pool and I only agree to go if I have at least 3 parents coming (included 2 with proof of basic swimming skills ) + a private lifeguard in addition to the pool lifeguard to lead the lesson. An Ocean beach?! Nope, not with me. Not even for a picnic in the sand.
suggestion, anytime you go anywhere with kids, as soon as get there, pose the kids and take a photo, this way if they do get lost..you have a picture of them and what they were wearing.
Yup! The moment we went anywhere my mom took a photo before we even ran off 😂 As a result we have boxes and boxes of photos. Especially of us at the beach.
that boy saved a life!!!! what I meant is that boy told the lifeguards as they weren't looking as they are and they didn't see the woman and the boy basically saved a life because she might of died if they didn't notify the lifeguards..
As someone who was a lifeguard for 15 years, I can say that there are very few boring days at the beach! Would love to be young again and do it all over!
You know how they have ski school for new skiers? They should have a short swim school for new tourists or others who want some extra tips on how to stay safe at the beach!
I am from the East coast of Canada We have beautiful sandy beaches all up & down the coast. We also get Jellyfish. I don't know how they compare with Bluebottles but if we are stung we spray the stings with Windex. Has ammonia in it. Really helps relieve the pain.
if you're referring to the mother, I highly doubt she was having a panic attack based on how "calm" she was as opposed to experiencing short breaths and a rapid pulse.
Bad enough to not pay attention when it's your own kids -imagine taking a whole group of OTHER PEOPLE'S children and doing absolutely no risk assessment
Story time. When I was about 10 I went to smiths beach and they have pretty big waves there so i was exited and I went like chest deep on my boogie board and I accidentally let go of it and a wave broke on me so I was under and unable to get my head over the water for like 15 seconds. It was scary😅
Right? I'm from Ontario and I feel the same way. Had a friend move here from the UK, and she invited us to go down south with her, but explained that it was a really long trip so she'd understand if we didn't want to. And I go, girl, it's three hours, that's nothing for us here 😂 she was genuinely shocked and it turns out she had packed like she was planning on spending the night (she wasn't). Apparently she had never taken a car trip like that before, and back home a 40 minute drive was considered a long time.
50kms is nothing here in aus. Have you seen the size of our country 😅 I think they emphasise it to point out that they arn't living on the beach. Generally most rescues arn't aussies.
Australia is actually roughly the same size as the states if you google it you can find pictures of Australia laid over a picture of the US and they are comparable. However most Aussies live right on the coast.
When you are being bombarded by people with minor bluebottle stings it's so easy to miss something you lifeguards do an amazing job but you are only human YOU REALLY CAN'T BLAME YOURSELF AND BEAT YOURSELF UP ABOUT IT at the end of the day the girl was OK and I n your defense the beach goers should be more responsible and do there homework and follow the rules and regulations of the beach
I have been to the beach maybe 7 times in 30 years. I know these ‘rules’. Cant these people read? Lived in Montana for 4 years. People who were Pennsylvania wilderness smart, or Sierra Nevada, or Michigan or Appalachia trail smart got lost or never came out at all. They’re sometimes found in the spring. Same with beaches
What was the mother thinking of letting her child wander off in a crowd like that. She should have taken a picture of the child to show to the lifegaurds so they know what it looks like.
I’m wondering why Bondi Beach not employ bi lingual Lifeguards/ interpreters? Also why no medic tent? People often need help and it should not impair their ability to monitor the beach
Which language? There’s tourists from all around the world. Then you run into the problem of balancing someone who has the proper skill set to be a lifeguard on top of the languages skills. It’s almost impossible to find the “perfect” candidate.
As of 2023 there are 7,117 languages recorded. Which ones should they learn? Perhaps it would be easier for people to learn a bit of the language for the country they are visiting?
Gotta love bringing a group of kids to the beach who have never seen the ocean before and just setting them loose to "swim".
Gotta "love" when they assume the ocean is the same as the public pool, makes you wonder how they survived this long

I'm all for the whole natural selection thing.
@@Isaac_132 🤣
90% of this show is just watching and yelling "Idiots!" every few minutes
Props to the boy who told lifeguards about the girl and to the man who brought her in (both saving her life)
Nahhhh she was faking it....she wanted attention
When was this?

That is a very good idea
That’s exactly what our mom did with us!! Plus, you get a lovely photo from vacation.

And didn’t get a thanks or credit

The little boy was wonderful. He ran so hard and was so worried ❤
I appreciate these guys and girls saving lives
10:45 MAXI'S FACE HAHAHAH
Terry is patroling heaven's sand up there. Miss you champ!
He spent enough years being a guardian angel here on earth, I'm sure he's up there keeping an eye on things.
man trying to find someone for the kid is like trying find a needle in a needle stack. crazy how you boys keep your cool.

I love Bondi Rescue and I wonder what the shifts are,as I hear there is morning and afternoon ones
Here in Texas we use meat tenderizer, chemicals in it take the sting away
Unfortunately with blue bottles, the ammonia can help or make it worse. There is no way to tell who is going to react well or poorly to it.
Bluebottles aren’t jellyfish, their stingers are different from jellyfish stingers.
See Wikipedia for details.
H stopping the dad and telling him to relax because he needs to calm down mom.
H is an interesting character and very smart.
One of my favourite seasons.
That boy is saved you what a wonderful world
Telling someone who is having a panic attack to calm down, is redundant.
if you're referring to the mother, I highly doubt she was having a panic attack based on how "calm" she was as opposed to experiencing short breaths and a rapid pulse.
I love bondi comfort show frl😻
16:33 I can’t 😂😂😂😂 not them making fun
Bondi is a beautiful beach, and often its a surf beach, unsafe for swimming. Always stay between the flags. Be safe and enjoy it.
Maybe small flyers printed in several languages to hand out might help.
That's a bomb "kicks it"

Anyone else confused at their blasé attitude at finding a bomb?! Does that mean something else in Australia??
No we are definitely scared. Kyle is just something else 😂
Not a BOMB. BON& is used to consume sometimes illegal plant matter (w33d)
This episode looks kaotic 😅
This is pretty sad
Why didn’t the woman sitting with the missing boy not go get the lifeguards???
Why are there so many compilations of these videos but they just show the same thing

How about watching your kids closer at the beach SMH

I feel sorry for you lifeguards in what you have to put up with on most days.Just one question, why can't you play ball games on the beach?
If itsbusy it can be really disruptive
Also safety issue, if it hits someone.

The lifeguards tower _is_ the first aid station for the beach. The lifeguards have a duty of care for everyone on the beach.
The people who do not now how to speak English is just like minines
I agree.I thought most countries around the world knew how to speak or read English.
im going to stick to private resort beaches in mexico... the crazzies at this beach is off the charts
There are no private beaches in Australia. All the beaches are public property.
Why are so many past episodes chopped into segments and re-uploaded as new videos?
because money
It's to rope in new engagement and it does work; I had never heard of this show until one of these 20-min highlight videos wound up in my recommended.

The way he entered at 5:26 ,it looked like he wanted to slap his wife. Pathetic.

You have to be careful with $lak people. They get out of control at the drop of a hat. I know because I'm American
