Roshiad Lasun - Imagine running in deep sand, across the beach, with it burning your bare feet, while they are sinking into the burning hot sand, and you jump onto a board, getting all of your clothes wet immediately, but still swimming to one drowning girl, while you are under the stress of trying to make sure to save the other drowning girl 15 meters away, and then you get the first girl onto the board, abandon the board, swim to the other girl and hold her above water, while under the stress of trying to figure out of the other lifeguards are going to back you up. Take the girls to the shore, and tell them it’s okay, while exhausted and worried they will have a problem. Easy much?

@AB - 04CD - Corsair PS (1359) he's PARTICULARLY alert; there's been a lot times where he has noticed things before the rest of the crew but also he often spots situations in the water with his naked eyes at a low vantage point while the others are scrambling to look through the binoculars from the tower to confirm. His eyesight is insane.
Isabel Bogdan there’s a few ways they can tell if someone is in danger: one is if the swimmer raises their hand, because that signal means ‘I’m in trouble please help me’. Another thing is that the lifeguards are ALWAYS watching, and they know what it looks like when someone is struggling-they’ll be going under the water often, not swimming in a normal manner, or just floating face-down. Also the lifeguards can tell if someone’s being dragged out to sea by a rip. Mainly, they can tell who’s in trouble because they have so much experience. In a job like lifeguarding, experience is vital, and Observational Skills are vital

Saying he can count to 20 without shoes on means he can use his toes to help count. In the shower you are naked and a certain male part that would be out in the shower that might resemble a finger could be used to help count as well. He’s just being a bit mean saying he needs something to assist with counting. Basically calling his friend dumb in a silly way. I hope that helps :)
