Finally someone addressing the problem that I am having. Don't know way every other woodworker just skips over this part.
I always thought the "standard rabbet" is 1/4 inch - not 1/2 inch.
Your tips and tricks are the best. I’m so glad I found your channel
Not accurate enough without stop blocks.
"Absolutely Brilliant!" as they say over the "pond" (England). You are great kind Sir. when you teach! NONE Finer! Love it!
So you measure from the inside!🤦🤦
What if you don't have a tablesaw???
The book provides clear illustrations ruclips.net/user/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO diagrams that cover many of the essential topics. The projects at the end of the book are valuable for enhancing your skills and creating your own furniture. A digital platform linked to the book that could offer the plans for other woodworking projects with the cut sheets would have been a nice addition, but overall, the book is excellent.
Maybe I'm just stupid...but I thought 45+45=90...why can't I just set the blade @ 45 degrees? Why do I need a jig? Explain please...the woodworkers I was learning from ate dead so I can't ask.
Definitely use stop blocks on all cuts as the lines are not accurate. Great video.
Thank You for this awesome information
When cutting picture frames you will need to add about an1/8 inch to your size so that whatever you are framing will fit without binding.
Can you make this for a sliding chop saw? If so, would there be any modifications needed? I don't have a table saw yet.
I can't believe I never thought of that simple trick. Great idea, thanks
Nice jig, I still have all custom frames lol
Genius! And you are a great teacher!
