Truckstar Assen absolutely poops all over Truckfest in the UK. Never seen so many people having such a good time and being generous at a truck show. Good on the Dutch 👍

That T-cab at 8:40 is the style built by Tuft from Norway, a relatively recent competitor for Vlastuin in Europe
The idea is to recreate the bonnet more reminiscent of those on the 3-series, as you said.
What a totally different show to those over here, I can see why it your favourite show. Absolutely hilarious when you were in the hammock.

Tim the R series looks absolutely stunning inside and out and the Dutch really know how to put on a truck show , you have to admire and respect the way the Dutch are so proud of their transport industry and the way the public come out and line the motorways in support of the truckers it's just a shame the British public ain't the same.

The Next Gen with a different style nose is not a 3 series bonnet, but it is build in Norway, company called Tuft Custom.

You need to get a racing truck trailer so you have accommodation and be able to take your volvo with you
One day I definitely want to go to Assen truck show looks amazing brilliant video there a lot of beautiful looking trucks with lots of time and passion and money that has gone in to them.

You made a nice video of the Truckstar Festival at Assen. Now you know what I've been doing for nearly 40 years, started at Zandvoort Festival and Assen. Hope you could open the link of the Truckstar Magazine of that Festival. If not, let me know.
Looking forwards to the Volvo V8 result :-) as I've been one of the main photographer in this Truckrace sport..
When DAF stopped with Truckracing, we manage to dive the DAF SRT on the test track from DAF. 3 of us were able to drive it. Just know that this DAF Super Race Truck had 1400 Hp with the automatic ZF gearbox. I was able to set the fastest time on that day :-) An automatic gearbox should be nice to drive on your Volvo V8 :-)
You should come to Sweden to Nordic Trophy at Elmia in Jönköping, Tånga Trophy/GTM (Gothenburg Truck Meet) in Vårgårda, Skåne Truck Show in Ljungbyhed, or Trailer Trucking Festival in Mantorp. Maybe even Skaraborg Truck Show at Moholm airfield between Mariestad and Karlsborg.
If you think the Dutch are good at making nice trucks, you'll see that Sweden is just as good, if not better. And at most of these truck meets, you have not only trucks from Sweden, but also Finland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, etc.

That next gen nose is from a brand called TUFT.
Its based on a R cab. The vlastuin nose is a S cab. I love both. The vlastuin is huge. And the Tuft nose is a bit more normal sized
