I feel like DJ is like one of those guys who as a kid never learned proper social skills or how to be comfortable talking with other people that he’s just met because he was always alone practicing golf instead of developing that comfortable social experience or something. Like he doesn’t seem nervous when talking to people, but it just seems like he never got out there to meet new people when he was younger and so he almost doesn’t Iike conversing with people he doesn’t know well. Which is sad because it’s very easily possible to both have an extreme focus on golf growing up and also keep those social skills. I mean look at Tiger. He had been practicing golf since he was not even a year old, yet even he seemed like he was fine with talking to people albeit definitely a bit nervous at first but I mean he was kinda thrust into that world spot light almost immediately when getting on tour so of course an 18 year old is gonna be a bit nervous in that situation at first. But once he got the nerves out of the way he never really shy’d away from having a conversation with people. I just feel like DJ put TOO much focus on just golf as a kid
The Jersey Ninja I think what you saw with Tiger was him developing that skill over time. Being thrust into that level of fame and constantly having to make small talk with people you develop that skill really quickly
Love how you all think you know people from watching them play golf or from the odd interview or video, people are completely different in-front of cameras to the real them
The guy in the white hat makes a much better swing when imitating Wolff. He kind of was laughing but it's a bigger arc, cleaner downswing, and more pop than his regular swing. Impressive he could impersonate it that well. Should stick with it.

Honestly man one of the hardest thing for new golfers to learn is how to shallow the club...swing like this guy as a drill...youll learn to shallow it or youll.never hit the ball...
EAL great content as usual. I hope Matt Wolff and GG force a change in teaching. So much crap out there. All that matters is your position when your lead arm is parallel to the ground on the downswing. Compare any pro at this point in their swing it they all look the same.
