I've seen these dolls before,i always admired these dolls because they are vintage and i think vintage dolls look cool
I’m SO jealous of collectors in the US! The choices of Barbies on EBay for you is so vast! And prices are reasonable! UK EBay is nowhere near as good and to order from the US, shipping charges just make them unaffordable!
I had that with my jurassic park toys... I think I spent more money on the shipping handling and taxes than on the items themselves so now I have a good friend in US collect them for me at her adress. Puts them together and sends them off to me.Saves a lot of money.
I’m a Barbie collector in the Philippines, and you don’t know how much I struggled with my collection so far hahaha. There’s not much Barbies and Kens you can buy here, except the fashionistas dolls, which is bad for someone like me who prefers collecting vintages.

When I was seven, you know, all my Nana had to play with in her house was some of my Mum’s old toys. My favorite was her old Hollywood Hair Barbie. I loved her little gold outfit and her long yellow hair. She was the best. She got to have all the adventures. There was also a Bride’s Dream Midge, but Mum had cut Midge’s hair into this weird mullet. It was Barbie for me.
…Not Hollywood Hair Ken. Mum had him too, but he was a creep. I gave him to Nana’s dog to eat.
Loved Hollywood Hair Barbie so much!! The stencil on the comb didn't work for me as a kid, the spray just kept seeping through it. Then one day I got bored and dipped some of her hair into the bottle itself and it BLED into the bottle and turned the whole thing pink!!! My sister's boyfriend was like, "Oh great...really 'magical', the liquid in the bottle is pink!" but yeah....I know this is an old video from last year, but thanks for the memories :)

Many of the Mattel Dolls aren't available here in Spain through Amazon and some are just outrageous! The Made to Move Asian Doll was 78€ and dropped to 38€ recently but still too expensive for me to buy when I bought the other MTMs for 22€ tax included and free shipping, still higher than the USA. I love '90s Barbies like this. Barbie's hair is really long, it kind of reminds me of Totally Hair Barbie. I found Hollywood hair Teresa at a thrift store a while ago. She was 99 cents, but unfortunately her hair wasn't in great condition, although I was still happy to find her. Great review!
I have Barbie, but sadly the spray color on to her hair doesn't work anymore. Take care of this Barbie really well. I think the box say must keep her in a cool right temperature room and do not put her hair into sunlight or any light b/c of the spray bottle to keep showing color on her hair.

I got Hollywood Hair Skipper and tried her hair mist! It was so cool to see her hair change color but so scary because I'm sure I wasn't really meant to use spray that's a few years older than me lol! Great review!
I really like Skipper's outfit best from seeing them on the box
Awesome dolls! I think with some of these heat/cold activated features, they (sadly) stop working after a while? Crossing my fingers your water just wasn't the right temperature, though!
I'm hoping it was the temperature of the water...if not, it's cool. He'll just have stars on his head lol

I had her when I was little. She's so 90s. The hair effect can vanish when the dolls are exposed to sun light. I have one where you can't see it anymore. It's so sad that you can't spray the stars. If you find out how to spray them exactly, please let me know. I either don't know it.

Do Hollywood Ken's legs have articulation? The thing is a friend of mine got him the other day, but she cannot bend his legs, although they are rubbery 😞

I think it might have smudge the star when u removed the comb because u may have slides the comb
