To be honest I didn’t even know how one got even nominated for homecoming I don’t remember doing that in my senior year. I was to busy trying to figure which two people looked the most like a couple and who had the best smile bc I was anti social and didn’t really know my classmates that well.

@@miaya.micronisWhen I was little, I asked my mom why everyone in movies and tv shows have their shoes on constantly, even on beds. She claimed it's cuz it's tv. You can't have characters constantly putting their shoes on and taking them off again. Would just take too much time. I don't know if that's true at all but it makes sense.

So the actor has to “take shoes off” perfectly ie correct pose and angle and on time, never mind they have to put the shoes back on in a timely manner as well all the while it’s a trivial activity that the crew doesn’t want to spend time on filming. It’s like why don’t characters go to the bathroom.
Also whenever they take off shoes, their socks would get dirty as the set pieces are disjointed and require the actors to walk on warehouse type floors between sets or standing on them during different scenes. The set piece itself is normally kept very clean but the other floors are dirty. Bare feet and socks pick up this dirt very readily and would make the illusion of a person being at home and in a clean home wrong if their feet were dirty.

My only problem with this movie is how the dresses Rosilanda and Carter bought by themselves looked A LOT better than the ones delivered by Rosie’s dressmaker 😬
To be fair, I’m pretty sure Rosie’s dress maker made a a dress that would usually be worn in Costa Luna. Also he was given very little time to make the dress. And he had to make an entire second dresss in the short time he was given.

Not true about the minority part, my PUBLIC school district is very good and has a disproportionately large Asian and Jewish student percentages. 5.6% and 2.6% of the US total population, respectively as opposed to 21.24% at the middle school and they don’t count the religion of students because that’s messed up, but trust me it’s at least 40% probably more. Scarsdale NY school district btw.
