Research & Innovation Community Talk: Science Perseverance

Research & Innovation Office Faculty Fellows inspired and informed the Boulder community during CU Boulder’s 2023 Research & Innovation Week. In this talk, “Science Perseverance: What I Learned about Being a Scientist from a Grain of Sand,” Dr. Lizzy Trower (Geological Sciences) tells the story of her love for ooids, her journey from curious student to accomplished researcher, and the unexpected lessons learned along the way.
