    It's astounding to me that pedophiles don't get more time in prison. Also, pedophiles are the top group of criminals that cannot be rehabilitated at all and most always reoffend no matter what punishment or limitations they receive. Even if they're on the registered sex offender list, they aren't capable of not offending. Your coverage of this story is amazing, as always.

    • @Lady.V
      @Lady.V Год назад +51

      It also really affects societal normalizing when it comes to young children and sex; for example- I'm from Eastern Kentucky where 99% of people have grown up with grandparents who are pedophiles. They just don't consider it to be pedophilia when their grandpa at the age of 30-40 married their grandma when she was 14 because "It was 'normal' back then, not pedophilia." And a lot of the laws regarding age of consent were enacted by people who don't think there's anything wrong with it, or just feel bad calling out an entire population that took advantage of children because it was easy to do back then. These laws and social norms are almost as much of a problem as the pedophiles themselves. There are a plethora of young girls and boys that now think thats normal, for a much older person to be sexually interested and or active with them. It's disgusting.

      Vice News actually does an interesting piece on this. The rehabilitation of sexual offenders. Sure, their struggles are tough when they get out but that’s as it should be. It’s an interesting piece because one offender they follow actually sexually harasses one of the Vice producers after filming by sending her an unsolicited pic. It was quite the ending that I think everyone was expecting. Same dude was proclaiming his innocence the whole time too, that he’s not that type of guy, etc.

When he greets the Princess you literally see her recoil when he takes her hand. You could see the hairs on her head stand up. She turned her back. She was repulsed and he knew it too. It's on video. THIS is why i enjoy helping 2 catch p3dophiles - as a survivor of CSA i myself understand what goes on in the minds of their victims & as 41yr old i still fight the nightmares & long hot showers scrubbing my skin till it bleeds - cant fix a pedophile imo so while they continue to get chances to fix their lives us survivors are stuck with life sentences so ill always fight 4 the kids 💯 thanks for covering this @Stephanie Harlowe

    I did not know about this case, somehow. How absolutely chilling and disgusting beyond words. Hearing him on those phone calls 🤮 I hope he’s getting it handed to him daily in jail..he deserves the worst

    The "popular" kids from my school days are still living in the same county working at the local grocery store. I take joy in knowing this. 😂

    Thank goodness for you! Always ensuring awareness is raised and giving a super strong voice for all those innocent children violated by these disturbed male and female predators/monsters
    As sickening as this case is and others like this, it’s so important it’s talked about and no predator ever feels safe behind a wall of silence!

    "You don't KNOW Ronald McDonald! How dare you!? He doesn't need to post on IG! He doesn't need to hold up his pants! He goes to work, then he clocks out, and he goes home!" LFMAO! Regardless of the discussion, there are always several moments in every video where I just lose it. It's not just that your videos are meticulously researched, it's also that your personality always shines through -- and that's something not many can do. Great job as always, mate. Edit: just got to the part where you basically say, "F RUclips and their censoring [of the acronym's actual meaning.]" I'd never suggest you do anything that's going to mess with your $, but good job, Steph.
