Some of us like HAPPY endings, thank you. Save everyone except Scott, because he cannot achieve his “happy ending” (that is, he gets away with murder) without killing one of the others in his escape. Shaun is saved, Ethan and Madison either get married or go their separate ways (so long as they are alive, I don’t care), Jayden retires from the FBI (depression is better than overdose or going crazy from ARI-induced hallucinations), and Lauren is alive to spit on Scott’s grave (not as satisfying as seeing her shoot Scott, but you’d have to kill off either Ethan, Madison, or Jayden to get that ending, so it’s not worth it). +Foxy The Pirate That is possible, Jason always dies, you kill Madison and Norman in play, Shaun dies so Ethan kills himself, save Lauren so she kills Scott. Hooray! Everybody dead!
I think the story of "Heavy Rain" goes beyond the trope of the love of a father. I think it's about having goals and what are you willing to do to reach them. That's why the endings I made sure the endings I got corresponded to my vision. -Sometimes we accomplish them and evolve (A new Begining); -Sometimes we accomplish them but don't make any progress in our lives (Heroine); -Sometimes we fail, but get close enough ensure our legacy lives on to teach others (Uploaded); -And sometimes we accomplish them, but the means we use to reach the end eventually has karma cath up to us (A mother's revenge); -Now I'm going to reverse the roles for Ethan and Shelby. Because sometimes we are so flawless in the way we commit atrocities that the consequences never fully catch up to us (Unpunished). And sometimes, even though we accomplish our objectives and deserve to be rewarded, the world is cruel enough to deny us that rightful reward (Ethan's grave); These 6 endings are remind us that we must keep fighting to pull it through in this cold rainy world. And the reason why we must fight, is because people like Scott are always lurking around the corner. This final lesson is going to be represented by the endings "A new Begining", "Heroine", "Uploaded" and "Unpunished" put together. The most realistic collection of endings (at least for me).
Norman deserved better. Whether he OD, died frim mad jack, or while fighting shelby. I was so sad when he died trying to save Shaun because if you chose the aggressive option while agruing with blake he said something like " I'm going to find Shaun with or without your help" he was so destined to save Shaun and he seemed so young (34)
The first time I played this game I got the ending where you don’t find Shaun but you do get clearly as the Origami killer, he kills himself at his sons grave lol. I didn’t even end up finding out where they hid Shaun in my first play through 😂😂😂
@FalloutB3 If you played the game you would know that the ARI glasses belonged to Norman Jayden, the agent that died and the guy who he sees. They were sort of a virual reality devise that had 4 different scenic locations that jayden can set. He put them on to sort of escape and meditate on solving cases. The guy that put them on was a police officer that was beefing wit Jayden. As far as him seeing Jayden in the glasses was probably something Jayden programed in them to pop up
It wasn't irrational whatsoever, at the point where the clerk at the store is murdered it goes into a cutscene where he could easily put on the veil of suprise to lauren, secondly his thoughts after the incident are based on the lines of ' Ok he's dead, what she we clean our prints off of .... ' which doesn't make his thought patterns erratic but his reasons for not pursuing the 'murderer' and just wanting to gtfo now make legitimate sense in retrospect.
Wow I replayed this so many times but never got this ending(the first part of it) thanks. This is so fucked up but awesome, I like how Ethan is in a cell full of origami figures.
i was hoping like they would do all of this then after u get all ends it takes u into another ending where all of it was just a dream then they make a heavy rain 2 and Ethan realizes that everything that is happening is just like his dream so he knows what gonna happen next and it takes you back ( flashbacks ) that shows what happens when you do b4 you do something.
when the cop with what-his-names glass and just keep looking at them, the whole time I was thinking just put them on for gods sake, then he did and I had no clue they did that.
For the longest time I couldn't bring myself to explore any ending other than the best one. Heavy Rain is that type of game where you get emotionally invested in the characters and seeing them fail was just too much.
I got the ending where Ethan kills himself (at the motel due to Shaun's death) and the Jayden takes to much tripto and dies and Lauren kills Scott and Madison is at home having those nightmare things. Great!
I got the same exact ending except Jayden ( the FBI agent ) died of an overdose from that stuff he was taking. I cried. Out of all the endings I got that one
actually, Ethan and Madison's worst ending is when they're at the cemetery in Shaun's graveyard then when Madison was getting away Ethan was about to suicide and she failed to stop him from doing so and he died and she was in tears, Jayden's worst ending is when he overdoses the Tripto and Scott's best ending (worst ending for US) is where Lauren is not here to kill him cause she's drowned and escapes, and the canon and BEST endings for me are, Ethan and Madison's ending where they live happily together, Jayden's ending shown in the video and Scott's ending where Lauren kills him
depends if ethan made it to save shaun. in this case, ethan didn't since shaun died, so scott will probably keep kidnapping boys. in the ending u described, if ethan made it by completing most of the trials and scott survives, he probably would've stopped.
I would love it if they made a game in the style of Heavy Rain, but where the killer is determined randomly at the start of the game from among a bunch of different characters and the clues are different, so every time you play it it's a different mystery to solve (and of course, multiple endings depending on who lives and whether or not you identify the real killer).
thats the point, if jayson didn't want the baloon than ethan wouldent spend time trying to find his money giving jason no time to run off and get lost. and then jason would not have walked into traffic and die while ethan tried to save him , then Scott shelby would not have seen ethan's bravery and wouldent have kiddnaped shaun to find a father capable of saving his son. THE END!
Jason: "I want a balloon!"
Ethan: "No."
THE END!

The only silver lining in this very dark cloud is Blake: He deservedly gets the stuff he's completely full of scared entirely out of him.
Best ending Ethan, Madison, Scott, Shaun, Jason and Norman all die, yes it is possible, once i buy the game, i will make a playthrough and prove it
+Foxy The Pirate That is possible, Jason always dies, you kill Madison and Norman in play, Shaun dies so Ethan kills himself, save Lauren so she kills Scott. Hooray! Everybody dead!
Or just let Madison and Jayden died and let Ethan alone in the warehouse. shoot shelby then leave the warehouse and get shot. No need to save Lauren
Hooray Laura saved the days by killing everyone origami killer stoped the murdereing in 2012
I think the story of "Heavy Rain" goes beyond the trope of the love of a father. I think it's about having goals and what are you willing to do to reach them. That's why the endings I made sure the endings I got corresponded to my vision.
-Sometimes we accomplish them and evolve (A new Begining);
-Sometimes we accomplish them but don't make any progress in our lives (Heroine);
-Sometimes we fail, but get close enough ensure our legacy lives on to teach others (Uploaded);
-And sometimes we accomplish them, but the means we use to reach the end eventually has karma cath up to us (A mother's revenge);
-Now I'm going to reverse the roles for Ethan and Shelby. Because sometimes we are so flawless in the way we commit atrocities that the consequences never fully catch up to us (Unpunished). And sometimes, even though we accomplish our objectives and deserve to be rewarded, the world is cruel enough to deny us that rightful reward (Ethan's grave);
These 6 endings are remind us that we must keep fighting to pull it through in this cold rainy world. And the reason why we must fight, is because people like Scott are always lurking around the corner. This final lesson is going to be represented by the endings "A new Begining", "Heroine", "Uploaded" and "Unpunished" put together. The most realistic collection of endings (at least for me).
I'm glad I didn't get this ending. I got on of the best ones.
FragileEnder I got the best endings possible (A New Life, Case Closed, and Origami’s Grave with Lauren alive) on my first playthrough
Jaelyn Coleman same🙏🏽 just finished the game 🤞🏽
It's a gamelong series of quicktime-events where the story just goes along even if you fail at something.
Omg i sucked at this game so much everyone died cuz of me im sorry T_T
+Spyros Neos same. damnit
Spyros Neos me too.
Spyros Neos you should have quit when you noticed it
Yeah. I'm playing on my brother's PS4 because I only have an Xbox one and I'm new to PS4.
Exactly. The only one that dies when I played through it was Norman. And I was devastated to see him die. And right on the very last chapter too.
This is the one I freaking got
Rip me and my feelings.
This game is so fun. I like it how the story changes as you play.
I just finished and this was my ending lool
+Tiago Goulart read the description lol
It's a new cost cutting initiative with jails now. Really saves on the long term housing overhead and overcrowding.
Does Shaun die in this version?
Yeah, that's why Ethan killed himself.
Oh gosh! Thank you.
No problem. Have you played this game, and if so, what endings did you get?
No, I haven't. I've only seen a walk through. That ended with Jayden dying and Shelby getting away.
Ah. I got the best ending, the ending where Jayden dies, and the ending where Jayden accuses Blake and retires.
I didn’t even end up finding out where they hid Shaun in my first play through 😂😂😂
The force of the impact on his smaller body and Ethan landing on him crushed him. Ethan went into a coma for six months :/
As far as him seeing Jayden in the glasses was probably something Jayden programed in them to pop up
this is the most emotional ending ive ever seen in a game...
Shelby is the only one left alive?! And Ethan wtf noo!!
The only times it isn't raining in this game is the prologue.
That’s happen when you play with a depressed person
this ending is really sad when they guy has no options left... the music, colours and the storyline is my favourite things about this game
The only satisfaction I get from this ending is that Blake is now going to be in that addictive hell that Jayden was in at the end as well
I think that means Jayden's subconcious is still in those glasses, seeing as he wore them so much.
This can be very depressing when you watch this and your name's Ethan.
i find it difficult to believe that there are actually people who suck at quick time events
Wow I replayed this so many times but never got this ending(the first part of it) thanks. This is so fucked up but awesome, I like how Ethan is in a cell full of origami figures.
***** Yeah of all the times I played it I always made sure Ethan broke out of jail so thasts why i never go it
i was hoping like they would do all of this then after u get all ends it takes u into another ending where all of it was just a dream then they make a heavy rain 2 and Ethan realizes that everything that is happening is just like his dream so he knows what gonna happen next and it takes you back ( flashbacks ) that shows what happens when you do b4 you do something.
when the cop with what-his-names glass and just keep looking at them, the whole time I was thinking just put them on for gods sake, then he did and I had no clue they did that.
It's amazing how many different outcomes there are in this game.
For the longest time I couldn't bring myself to explore any ending other than the best one. Heavy Rain is that type of game where you get emotionally invested in the characters and seeing them fail was just too much.
Yeah...making all those origami figures in your cell really isn't helping your case, Ethan.
I think Norman’s worst ending is when he goes insane and then overdoses on the tripto.
I got the ending where Ethan kills himself (at the motel due to Shaun's death) and the Jayden takes to much tripto and dies and Lauren kills Scott and Madison is at home having those nightmare things. Great!
The police hung it there themselves, they set up his room like that with the origami figures. Everyone hated him so much, they just wanted him to die.
I am so happy with my ending where everyone except Scott are alive. This game is a masterpiece
this can only happen if you surrender at the motel instead of jumping off the roof and surrviving
They really need to stop giving prisoners ropes.
And stools.
Oh my god. I can imagine the game producers giving you the option to reject Jason and end the game there.
I got the same exact ending except Jayden ( the FBI agent ) died of an overdose from that stuff he was taking. I cried. Out of all the endings I got that one
I seriously hope no one got this ending the first time. You’d have to be either deliberately trying to get everyone killed or just very stupid.
Comes free with every phycotic prisnor package.
For me it was "Everyone died except the killer". That was my first ending.
Oh...I played through this game for the first time and got this ending...I wanted a good ending...My bad, I got the worst one.
actually, Ethan and Madison's worst ending is when they're at the cemetery in Shaun's graveyard then when Madison was getting away Ethan was about to suicide and she failed to stop him from doing so and he died and she was in tears, Jayden's worst ending is when he overdoses the Tripto and Scott's best ending (worst ending for US) is where Lauren is not here to kill him cause she's drowned and escapes, and the canon and BEST endings for me are, Ethan and Madison's ending where they live happily together, Jayden's ending shown in the video and Scott's ending where Lauren kills him
Nah man he gave the clown a fiver and said keep the change.
Boy was that a mistake.
they say you can hear Ethan screaming Shaun in his Coffin.
Ethan: SHAUN!?
I am glad I got a happy family ending with Madison, Shaun and Ethan all together, and forgetting that old wife who divorced ethan
depends if ethan made it to save shaun. in this case, ethan didn't since shaun died, so scott will probably keep kidnapping boys. in the ending u described, if ethan made it by completing most of the trials and scott survives, he probably would've stopped.
If THIS happened, I think that he would be glad if the game was a dream.
who puts that much contemplation into trying on a pair of sunglasses lol
I would love it if they made a game in the style of Heavy Rain, but where the killer is determined randomly at the start of the game from among a bunch of different characters and the clues are different, so every time you play it it's a different mystery to solve (and of course, multiple endings depending on who lives and whether or not you identify the real killer).
It would suck if the final cutscene was Ethan waking up and realising that it was all just a dream.
I laughed so fucking hard when Jayden showed up in the ari even though I was so sad cause of what happened earlier
thats the point, if jayson didn't want the baloon than ethan wouldent spend time trying to find his money giving jason no time to run off and get lost. and then jason would not have walked into traffic and die while ethan tried to save him , then Scott shelby would not have seen ethan's bravery and wouldent have kiddnaped shaun to find a father capable of saving his son. THE END!
