- In this video, we present Ringbot, a novel leg-wheel transformer robot incorporating a monocycle mechanism with legs. Ringbot aims to provide versatile mobility by replacing the driver and driving components of a conventional monocycle vehicle with legs mounted on compact driving modules inside the wheel.
Ringbot represents KIMLAB's "ingenuity", demonstrating our ability to bring a sci-fi-like mobile robot to the real world through robotics.
Thank you for watching this video! If you're interested in exploring the technical details further, you can find them in the following link.

General Grievous will be pleased to hear about this..invention.
😂😂😂
That is one the coolest things I've ever seen. It would be amazing if could also fly, those arms spread out almost look like wings. If only they could flap like those RC birds
great build.
Nice work!
Congrats!
"Im sorry Dave.Im afraid i cant do that"
LOL
I want to join Kimlab. This looks amazing. Those in wheel units are incredibly compact
Looks amazing
For some reason I feel reminded of John Shirley's "A Song called Youth" trilogy.
Game on. That is baller.
너무너무 좋습니다~~
Quando vai chegar aqui no Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Pretty cool :)
I wish our space tech was as advanced as our robotics tech.
Pretty awesome
Looking forward to rolly poly battle droids.
It's stup... whaaaaat?.... NIIIICE!
If your bots the best bot the wheel bot wouldn't have been invented.
Can you believe that I saw a monocycle robot with legs in northern California? Larger than a paint can lid with tiny springy legs installed all along the outer rim, making contact with the ground. I saw it from 30 yards away. It was heading south, turned the corner, came up the drive where I was pumping gas, passing me 5 yards away, I turned to service the pump, I looked for it, it was heading up over the highway bridge. I thought, a very windy day for a paint can lid to be rolling uphill.. and headed back on my trip.
Wow, I am amazed that I saw this report. I actually thought that the device I saw was collecting GPS data, not really a paint can lid with legs, been on my mind since I saw it
When moving at top speed, does it keep its legs pointed up, or aim them forward?
Great. Now put props at the end of the legs for flight 😂
Can it extend a leg to the side to lean into a turn while driving?
What will be the use cases?
Spiral Zone motorcycle!!!!!
New Mars scout bot
now add chatgpt on it and let me have a cute wheel robot friend
Doesn't quite compare to a Boga
What is boga?
@@matteoricci9129 Star wars reference (lizard) someone said it directly eg. Grievous
