I can't wait for mine to arrive!!! My build date is Sept. 12, 2022. I got the Big Bend model with the convenience package, tow package, vent visors, fender flares, fitted floor mats and cargo mat, and the rubber rear seat guards. I test drove one at the dealership that I would have bought, but it wasn't in Oxford White. I really wanted white, so I ordered one. Worked out better for me as Ford was giving $1000 off for ordering and the dealership I buy from was matching the $1000 off. $2000 off for being willing to wait a few months, I can deal with that! I can say I was thoroughly impressed with how the one I drove rode and handled! For such a small engine, the 1.5l ecoboost and the 8 speed are an impressive combination!!!

Own a 21 BS Badlands. Loooove it. Zero issues. Gas mileage was pushing 30, then winter and all its snowy glory hit. Now hover around 26. Still better than my truck it replaced. 😂
Ordered my Sport Badlands edition on 10/29/21. Supposed to go into production next week (1/31/22). The wait is killing me! These things are so sought after.
This SUV looks very strong. Bronco is not available here in South Africa, although I can not afford to buy it but I will love to see it at our South African roads. Lovely car 👏👏
Back in 1984 I had a Ford Bronco II. I enjoyed it and think I would love the new Bronco Sport. My only concern is the 3 cylinder engine. I will have to take a test drive.
I’ve test driven the 1.5 BS. It surprised me with its acceleration. I too had a bronco II back in the day. I only had it for a year or so, traded it in on a 1987 mercury cougar. That cougar was one of my favorite cars that I’ve ever owned. Styling, speed, handling, nice interior, tinted windows, it had it all. I had a mobile phone installed the first week. Big cell phone apparatus in the trunk, phone tethered in place between the front seats. Cell phones were kind of rare back then, usually something like I had was found in a limo. I thought I was something.
Great review. Test drove the 2023 version after seeing your review. We were very impressed with the driving quality. Good steering. We don't like hybrid so this was best for us. Thanks again
I have had my Bronco sport big bend just like the one in your review only it is the area 51 color and so far it's a great vehicle. I like how you guys have two doing the review. Good job and keep up the good work. 👍
First up, we have a recall issued for certain 2020-2022 Ford Escapes and certain 2021-2022 Ford Bronco Sports. Only versions of these models with the 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder are included in the recall, and the final tally is 345,451 cars between the two models. These cars are being recalled due to a potential oil leak issue. Ford’s recall documents explain that the engine oil separator housing installed on these vehicles “may crack and develop an oil leak.” If this happens, Ford says the leaking oil could leak onto other engine components, increasing the risk of an engine fire.
@@JohnstasBACK To answer your question, ford sent out letters in April that are maintenance waivers so they can change your seal for a permanent replacement free of charge at any ford dealership .
Raised on Fords. Took my driver's test in a "three on the tree, 352CID V-8, power nothing" F-100 pickup (and passed with ease thank you very much) back when I was 15 years old. I've owned several Fords since then and they were fine vehicles. As an LEO the Crown Vic was the best of the best when it came to "Just Refused to Die" patrol cars. Nowadays I'm a RAM pickup guy with zero complaints and a huge Jeep SUV fan having owned several over the decades. I learned from your video, enough to know that I'll be sticking with RAM for pickups and my "beater" five cylinder, 2005 Chevy Z71 4X4 pickup (with over 240,000 miles on the original engine and drive train). If The Lovely Bride and I were to switch over to Ford for an SUV it would be an Expedition that ended up in our driveway.....But more than likely such a trade would come in the form of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Ford would have been well advised to avoid a body design that looks way too much like a Range Rover.
I have ordered a BS Outer Banks, but I doubt I will ever drive it off the road. Unless you get a Badlands, underside protection is a joke. Someone may eventually come out with an aftermarket real skid plate, but until then, no off road for me.

You all missed the most important feature in the back cargo area! The built in bottle opener ( I’m not kidding). Just bought almost the exact same model today. My only gripe is the seats are VERY Firm.
@@HerOwnScript Love the Bronco itself. Zippy little suv, lots of head room, tech even with one up from base model is good. Seats are the only major downfall… not a fan. May go to a custom seat place near me that said they can do leather seats and add cushion (front seats only) for about $900.
Really like the Bronco Sport for the compact class. I remember the first one I saw, which was a blue First Edition. Looked pretty sweet. Ford really designed this car well and it tricks the eye in believing that it is bigger than it is, but it is 5" shorter than an Escape. The only thing I would suggest is just springing for the 2.0T model. It is far more peppy and the engine is likely to be more reliable. The harmonics of 3cyl seem to sully an otherwise nice driving experience for something in this class.
Great Review! I love my 2021 Big Bend with Badlands package(power/ heated seats, power, sunroof and wireless phone charger). Did they reduce the torque numbers for the 2022? Mine was rated at 181hp and 190 torque? Cheers!
Is the Ford Bronco Sport driver seat low enough , where a person of body height ( 5"10" ) ; can open the driver's door , turn their but towards the seat and just lean back and sit down sideways into the seat ( in other words , do not have to climb into the vehicle by stepping one foot up onto the floor and climbing in ) ? This is a needed feature for those of us buying a vehicle that have had hip replacement.
I really want to like the bronco sport but I dont like the package options across the trim levels. To get what you want you really need to pay $$$. I have a renegade trailhawk and they come with navigation, keyless entry, remote start, heated seats, and heated steering wheel all for 32k. Badlands trim you have to add that package on top if it all. I also wish they offered the body color roof in those higher trim levels. I might be willing to spend the money if i at least liked how it looked. Big bend with cactus color body and roof looks awesome but you cant get the options you want.

Took it back to the dealership and they didn't have a tire to sell me and so I had to go buy a new set of tires. Thinking of getting a backup car. I have a 17-year-old Honda Element and I do love my car. Looking something like the Element in away. How well does the bronco drives on the snow and ice? gas millage? We do get bad winters here.
Does the Bronco come with a normal 4-cylinder engine and no turbo?
