Having a foam plane tell you that you 'should've read the instructions' is worse than the wife telling you the same! Oooof! But NIIIIIIIIIIIICE repair! 😁👍

Thanks for posting, I just received my V-2 and would have flown it on 4-S too! Will keep it on 3-S.

I’m about to post another video on this bird. It will be about an air outlet modification. This is to help with cooling of the ESC as even on 3s that thing gets hot to the touch based on how I fly it. Sport aerobatics.

Needs air exit holes in the fuse. Won’t have cooling air flow without them.

I did notice that. I’m thinking on a good placement for them.

I emailed flite test asking the same about using a 4s. they said no, it will blow the electronics. I used it to set the plane but after seeing your video and the reply email, I'll have to get conversion plugs for my lipos. I guess never go by what it says on the esc. I am guessing the motor is only 3s and a 4s will cause too many amps through the esc.

Just about to drop video on a Modification to allow more airflow to cool the ESC, and it worked.

@@dustinhiett9594 can I take rec outta my first crashed turbo timber and install it in new plane

If you put it in another new turbo Timber as your “new” plane it will work just fine. If you put it in a different plane it may not work exactly as expected. AS3X might not be tuned correctly. Also you need to orientation it the same as it was on the old turbo Timber

Even on 3S this plane has ridiculous power. I fly it at mostly 50% throttle.

I bought the original. Very disappointed in quality. Don't want to chance wasting more $ on V2. Got very poor customer service. No more for me. I'll stick with Eflie.

I bought the original as well... after having such excellent flights with their Widgeon. The original was horrible... burning hot motor on 3S, landing gear broke on a good, soft landing. Flitetest was great and replaced it for me with a Widgeon. But so many people loved it. I wrote Troy on his channel but it was removed. I'm not going for the V2 either.

I haven't bought the freedom fox yet but if you didn't like flitetest customer service you'll definitely hate horizon customer support. With horizon I had to dispute a charge thru my credit card company to try and resolve something. Its still not finalized but appears to be going in my favor.

I'm about to drop a video on an airflow modification. it work well to cool down the ESC when running 3s power.
