Hey Aaron I am orignially from Belize and currently abroad in college. I can't express how relaxing and the joy your videos bring to me especially after a rough day. Brings back all those memories of fishing when I go back to visit.
Your videos are perfectly timed for my Monday cardio session. I can zone out and think about fishing the keys and not feel the pain/monotony of the stairmaster. Thanks again!
Nothing quite like an afternoon out on the flats, watching the weather do its thing and watching nature do its thing and all the friendly banter that goes on on the boat. This was a good one. Would love to see more like it.
Those Stradics are kickass reels. Super smooth. Mine fell off the boat & sat on the bottom for 10 mins before I found it. Still feels like butter to this day
Great video as always! It would be cool to see a video of you using shrimp, green backs, or pins around the bridges. There are so many species around them and you never know what you might get
Dead low tide means time to go find a channel and switch to a jighead and your favorite soft bait if the fish are not up on the flats, Work the bottom of the channel and the sides. Certain times fish will hold to one side of a channel better so work both sides.
Mr. James Mr. boring needs to spend a day on the flats and see what fun is all about. My buddies and I live in the Tampa Bay area and there’s never a boring day fish or no fish. Thanks for a great video.
I'm going to send Will a pack of flukes and an EWG Hook. Flukes catch everything on the flats. A live target swimbait is also a must. Such a great video yet again!
The best part of a bad day in the back country is slaying Cudas! You all should use the cuda tubes. Started making them with my late father in the 80’s. Joe Saladino was our guide out of Marathon. We had a condo in KCB and still use the tubes on days like these to hammer big cudas when the bones and permit didn’t want to play on the fly or live shrimp or crab.
I work on ice makers for a living, and I fish a lot. I think this ice maker would fit you well. It’s not the cheapest but it’s great fishing ice and it’s a reliable machine. Hoshizaki KM-231BAJ
always cool seeing those nurse sharks. I'm up in the big bend and every summer during the blowout tides in the late evening we see them getting it on, usually in pretty large groups. I guess they like the low tides down there too, cool video!
Did Will get enough content for his show? Enjoy viewing his shows too 👍 Nice tarpon Capt. Looking forward to viewing more of these type episodes and for certain your diving the creeks! Enjoy dinner
Up here in the Pacific Northwest it’s SOP to replace treble hooks with singles. Fishing for salmon and steelhead you have to do as little harm as possible if you catch a wild born. We can only keep hatchery fish.
That had me cracked me up. “It Serious low tide. That’s probably like a really bad thing” I ve got buddies I take fishing like that where we are fishing for what want not what we should hahah gotta learn different fisheries some how.
Constructive criticism - depending on what video editor you use, many of them have a filter call Lens Distortion or Correction and it will almost completely level out the 'fish eye' effect that the wide angle GoPros and similar cameras do to your footage. Nice video as usual Aaron.
Great vid as always! A little hint. Wet the towel as fish have a slime coat that protects them from infections etc. a dry towel wipes that coat off. Again love your vids.
Remember when you are looking for an ice machine. The hopper size is what is the most important. For example, if you use 40 pounds of ice once a week, you can get a 10 pound ice maker with a 50 pound hopper and let it make for a few days to get what you need. It doesn't matter how much it makes a day unless you empty it, it will only make what the hopper can hold.
Idk if you’ll read this but can you do a quick gear read out at the top of your videos? Like what pound test, lure configuration, what rod/reel size your running ? Just like you did at the start of the video. It’s good to know what you’re fishing. Cheers.
Bought one 6 years ago. Was spending between $20 and $30 make sense if use a lot. Cost average $200 a month between water and electric. Good thing is you get more ice for your money. Break my heart when I have to buy a 3.99 bag and lest 20 min
Went deep sea fishing with stephen Doherty. He said you might be coming up soon for some hog fish. Gonna attempt your fish head chowder recipe with a red snapper and red grouper head this weekend. Love the videos! Keep it up
Love your videos deg not boring and love the cooking addition. I know a long question bit when you moved to Keywest how did you survive. I know you said first 2 years were tough. I dont see alot of employment.
Long time fan and supporter back when I suggested and tagged #BlueGabe but I have a quick question? Where can I get one of those coozies? Another awesome video with #CookinWithClams and #FlKeysMadeleine best thing about Mondays is definitely #KeyWestWaterman
What you should have done was... exactly what you did! Topwater strikes are awesome and it looks like you had a ton of fun fishing the way you wanted to that day, ignore the peanut gallery!
Great vid… Y’all’s flats are so different from Mississippi flats… The barracuda seem to be like our hardhead catfish that we have here only we don’t eat Hardheads!… Our flats hold flounder, specks, and redfish… 10 pound test monofilament with a split tail sparkle, beetle ,smoke color here. What did you say your rod & reel combo was???? 🕷️
Dam man i was staying in key largo for a week on vacation and I have this little 13 skiff and I bought it a 25hp yamaha brand speaking new I brought it to the hotel and was going out inshore and fishing in channels and what not and the rain wasn't to bad it was on and of with a lite sprinkle so I took my mom out we started fishing not even 3 fish in I see a huge storm brewing up we were tucked in the mangs and my mom was like its fine its fine next thing you know the thunder to lighting ratio starts getting closer and closer and I told my mom we need to gtfo of here asap😆😆we head back to the hotel and we dam near almost missed the storm we got to the dock and I tie up in the rain and I tied it at the cleat in the back and the actual hull grab on and I "thought" she wasn't going any we went back in the room showerd and grabbed a coffee and I go to check up on the boat in the storm and b4 I knew it she was capsized so just saying don't under estimate mother nature🤷♂🤷♂ and be extra carful😉😉
great video. Ice machine is definitely worth it. at $400 thats 33 days of fishing. I cheated and put an ice maker in a chest freezer and let it roll. part is for fish part just ice.
ALL treble hooks in my box/boat have clamped barbs. Rarely lose fish for it. I catch sooo many that any that are lost are worth the trade-off. The hooks come out of the fish for easier release. They come out of lines, clothes, nets, and PEOPLE easily, too.
@@adamyoung480 I clamp all artificial lures.... Bait, live or dead, will come off without a barb. I fish 100% artificial. So, ALL hooks on my boat are clamped. I can understand not using treble hooks. There's plenty of argument to validate an argument against them. There's very little argument to support barbs on artificial.
@@francus7227 Aloha. When I worked in Alaska, the river I fished was all artificial. Many times fishing for trout, you’d hook a steelhead. So I switched everything over to siwash crimped down. Losing a fish knowing it could be button hooked always bothered me.
"Throw it in upside down so it swims close to the surface" I'm going to use that line 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I've eaten barracudas 25 pounds and they are great tasting. I only eat a small portion (that fits in the palm of my hand) and wait 5 hours. If all's good, I finish up. Sennets are also good eating, it's related to the barracuda family and usually travel in schools and resemble the barracuda. I've been to many iCast shows and learned they make lures to catch fishermen, not necessarily fish 😂 Low dark clouds, temperature drops and winds = disturbance and I'm outta there. For your ice issue, I freeze bottles of water and use the saltwater to keep the fish chilled. Fresh water (melted ice) not good for the meat. When I'm done, I freeze them again. No money wasted on ice. I use a product called M-Y Wedge on my boat. It takes the strain off the engines and transom. I also use them when I trailer my boat. You can easily search it and find them. I don't comment much but enjoy your vids nonetheless. Cheers mon 🤙
clams got skunked or what he didnt catch anything or what wish i coulda seen a catch cook n clean but i love it when clams cooks to great video looked like a blast !

Great idea. I need to try this on the treadmill
That's prime content for your channel. Just you and Will, having the times of your life. And a cameo by Madeline to finish up. So fun to watch.
Looked like a fun day out on the water. Thanks for sharing!👍🏻👍🏻
Nothing quite like an afternoon out on the flats, watching the weather do its thing and watching nature do its thing and all the friendly banter that goes on on the boat. This was a good one. Would love to see more like it.
Aaron, I honestly thoroughly enjoy when you sprinkle i this type of fishing video. Especially when you have Will on for the banter.
“It will taste terrible because you caught it!” Too funny! Another really fun episode Aaron and I thank you so much!
Love the video. You & Will together is hysterical!!! Keep filming we'll keep watching.
Love it...felt like just a casual day out going out fishing with the boys...good times...great video as always!

Great video.. I love hook and line fishing videos from you. More relatable since I don't dive, but I watch them all!
Well done video that moved quickly, gave some tips and has me and I'm sure others looking for another.

I love how you both ignore the massive shark that only turns around at the last minute almost at the boat, at 07:17
I saw it

Cuda's are always fun! The small one's I've caught in Baja are pretty good eating. Slime Rockets!!
I would love to see you take the little boat to Titusville and make a couple videos.
the nurse sharks were making OnlyFins content. lol

Hahahaha! 😂😂😂😂
Yeah if the water was clear Aaron would have to put a PG14 rating on it
Hey Yall I spoke with Madeline today about getting a place down there. You guys are awesome!

Enjoyed the video, I work a night shift so I don't get home till like 2:30 a.m. but I enjoy the video it was good and a shepherd's pie sounds good

Did anyone else see the nurse shark in the bottom right of the frame move up when they pulled up to the disturbance? That was cool
I bought a gheenoe in 1990. Mosquito Lagoon was my # one choice destination all through the 90s.
Those Nurse sharks needed some Barry "Great" White music to set the mood.
Like the can koozie next to the barracuda!
we need a part 2 of lures
THANKS FOR THE MERCH

7:15 in the video you can the one shark for sure swim to you then cut back in the bottom right corner of the screen.
How about doing a shark catch clean and cook. Nurse or bull would be cool!
At 7:16/17 if you look carefully on your video, lower middle just to the right close to boat you can see a shark turning.
I like the coozie seen when you land the cuda. Is that available in your merch store? 😝
