- This is another update regarding the whole hacking situation that is currently happening to many Call of Duty games right now. Activision have finally responded to this issue.

If Activision had ANY sort of care for their player base, they’ll delay season 4 and focus entirely on fixing this and stopping the hackers. Hell, delay MW3 if you have to. If they don’t, then they have given up on us and Call of Duty, and it may be time to abandon ship
See a similar thing happened to dark souls 3 on pc where it was a seriously dangerous game to play online and what from software did was pull the plug on the servers until they could fix the issue, of course activisions greed will stop them from doing the same but it’s a legitimate solution
As much as I hope Activision will completely turn around where there going I just don’t think they will. Knowing Activision being so money hungry rn, sadly I don’t think it will happen completely.
At this point Activision only cares about putting skins in and pulling them. They don’t care about there player base
I honestly want them to fix the black ops 4 crashing on PC startup so I can play classified. Or the black market just completely not working not allowing me to earn the new weapons manually
So is it only on multiplayer? Can I play cold war zombies on solo safely?
i’m pretty sure that they are going to do something about this, if they don’t this will affect their sales on their next cod title.

So i have a question that most people probably wouldn't ask.. Would anyone know if Black ops 4 is safe to play yet?
I'm one of those people that actually just enjoys playing it casually and right before this really became a issue i got it back into my daily routine, but people say generally every cod isn't safe, and i've been trying to figure out if it applies to bo4 since i'm just taking people saying any cod from cod4 to mw2 isn't safe at their word.
I know bo4 isn't really liked but i honestly really like it, partially because of having so much cod burn out that it's just hard for me to play the other games for a while, but for whatever reason Bo4 doesn't have that problem for me.
That’s a really good question. I can’t give you a definite answer but I would say don’t risk it. If black ops 2 and black ops 3 have their issues with this problem, (and then there’s MW2, and Cold War too,) then I’m gonna assume that BO4 isn’t safe either

"worst state" is where all of activision's cod games are infested with this exploit, its such a shame because i genuinly enjoyed bo2 zombies and bo2 was my favorite cod now i cant even play it because of this exploit
This is why I never play Online anymore unless it's a private game with friends
private matches arent safe either as they are still connected to the call of duty servers
unless lawyers are involved in cheating scandals nothing will change in the gaming industry

If they don’t fix the game they should refund everyone the game price and in game purchases. Some people can spend a bunch of money on these games and now we can’t play them at all.

@@jamescannon8573 It was unsafe for a me or anyone else to play the game for like 2 plus weeks. If you spend money on a product you now own that product. You bought that product because you were promised to be able to use that product fear free. I didn’t pay for that product for someone to hack into my p.c/ps5 and destroy hardware. Which was completely possible on p.c. Seems very safe to play. Oh they could hack your I.P steal personal information from your ps5/pc. Yeah I should definitely boot up a game so people could steal/break my shit. Oh and I definitely shouldn’t hold the company behind the product that has put your personal information at risk accountable at all. If you paid me $100 for a base service but in the process I allowed your credit card service to be accessed by strangers you would be pretty pissed off huh? If you buy something usually there is a warranty in case that product fails at some point. iPhones have 1-2 year warranty if anything happens to your product they replace it. It’s all about accountability and people like you don’t hold these companies accountable and that’s why they keep getting away with it.
Dang, I had no idea CW was having an issue with hacking. Loved the zombies revival in CW, but CoD needs to fix their stuff or no one will have any confidence in them in the future.
Damn, this fucked up. I thought i read today that it was effecting *most* cod games (like WAW, BO1, BO2, and stuff) but maybe i was wrong. Wither way, thats fuck. I was just thinking about going back and playing some BO3 zombies for old times sake, but maybe i wont. Idk, i dont have PS+ and would just be playing solo, but still, you just never know
Call of Duty just made it worse by taking a stance with social issues and removing the NickMercs DLC bundle because of his comment, there is no way we will ever forgive them for this shit!

Honestly the game is playable still my friend plays it on Xbox everyday and he has no problems what so ever so I don't see the problem and Activision as a company has been shit for many years since I was a kid they were shit and to all the people who are like if they would do this or do that they aren't going to do anything about it even though they said they are so yea games are still playable regardless
The point is that just playing the game is dangerous, even without you knowing. They can dig around your computer or console or whatever and lift your data and the only way to avoid that is to not even log on
