Try version 2.5.3.. I guess these latest versions are available as installers and not the whole software package & that might be causing the issue. If you check version 2.5.3, it’ll be available as a whole software package, try it and let me know.

Very interesting instructions. Thanks. But I will lose all the projects I did in CapCut if I download the version you are suggesting. And the worst is that I was contacting them for a long time to suggest to me a way to Sign in into my account, but they never reply back. The PC version can not synch to your account. Because It only has available 3 options of Logins. Only with Google account, TikTok, and Facebook. And There is no other option to Login into my account, with only a password and a Username. The one I have created a long time ago. It is a mess up. 😭 I will start searching for Other Free video editing softwares for PC. Do you have any video about suggesting other free Capcut alternatives?
The only best alternative to capcut is davinci resolve free version but it has a steep learning curve. You can also try Microsoft clipchamp, it’s okay.

Oh.. that’s one more issue with downgrading to the older version.. if you are working on any projects in the latest version of capcut and you downgrade to the older version, those projects won’t work in the older version. It’s better you try any one of the latest versions of capcut which has less pro features like 2.5.3

If you’re in India and trying to buy the pro version of capcut, I would suggest not doing it. It’s banned here so it would not be a wise decision to purchase capcut in India ..

I was using capcut, and out of sudden network error occus in all feature like transition, effects and so on. I was using Proton VPN. Now VPN is also not working.
There might be some issue with your network. I’ve been using proton VPN for a very long time and i never faced any issues.. try to check if your network is stable..

this is just the basic version there are no pro features in it the effects and transitions that you have shown is just the basic ones even if you update you'll get these for free but the pro effects and transitions are not there and needs subscription for using them
The latest version of capcut has most of these transitions under pro section. But you can still create a great video with what’s available in version 1.4 or 1.5. You can update if you want but what’s available in these older versions should not limit you from creating a good RUclips video. I created this video using the older version, it looks pretty okay I guess. Also, some features like the auto captions and some simple transitions are under pro section in the latest capcut.
That’s weird.. it should not happen. Is capcut banned at your place ? You can try disconnecting the vpn if capcut is not banned or try to change the vpn server ..
Make sure the Internet connection is stable .. connect the VPN first and then open capcut . If you are facing issues, close capcut, change the vpn server and open capcut again..

You've got to sacrifice something if you want to avoid pro features.. Most of the features are paid in the latest version and you can do some really good video editing with the older versions of capcut..

This does not happen normally but try changing the VPN server, it can help..
