I live in the Appalachian mountains of Western N.C. I’m about an hour or so from The Great Smoky Mountains Railway. I listened to a few of their songs before I had any idea they were not ‘local folk’. Norway! Seriously?!?! They nail it. This is some really good music.
Here’s a Norwegian group, whom I assume, English is a second language, write a Bluegrass tune that sounds like it came right out of the Appalachians. Impressive.
Very much so, they have there mountain music combined with our mountain music.. Rebecca is a fabulous singer that is forsure. I love there home music and our music they sing..

Globalization at its best.. a brazilian dude enjoying some good ol' american folk song perfomed by an awesome norwegian bluegrass band. Who'd have thought?!

I'm from Spain and I love your music. It's so deep and beautiful. Nowdays is very difficult to find good music. Thank you for sharing yor art ! Godbless :)
It’s not really me here getting another hit from the band. This is just someone pretending to be me:). I am NOT addicted to this band at all. Zero addiction! Is that clear? No way!
Stupid question: have you been to the Smokey Mts.? If not, you guys are magicians, because you capture the soul of this beautiful part of America! My folks came from NC, but I was born in WI. So I tell folks that "I am Northern born but Southern raised!"
You just can't beat talented musicians. I have listened to Hayde for many years. This piece is also stunning - perfect harmonious with each other and complementing each other so well. Great song - done so well!! From South Africa
ABSOLUTELY, UTTERLY MARVELLOUS!!! MAKE WAY FOR THE NEW SENSATION!!! STYLE, RHYTHM, MELODY AND ARTISTRY; WOVEN TOGETHER TO PRODUCE A TAPESTRY OF SUBLIME BEAUTY!!!V.W.
My goodness, you are wonderful! It's fascinating for me as a woman myself, to see those two ladies next to each other because they are so different but they're both incredibly wonderful and mesmerizing. I like you both a lot! ♡ A wonderful song and your band brings so much joy into my life! Thank you and the best wishes for your path ahead! :)
Wow !! Excellent performance, amazingly impressive. Congratulations to each of the artists of Hayde Bluegrass Orchestra. Regards and best wishes from Canada
I've heard a lot of artists: but, I've only listened to a few performers... These Fine Young Musicians have an unbridled (limitless) passion for what they're presenting and that's why they're so irresistible and enjoyable ( delicious )!!!
Amazing musicians! Love you guys ….fab! The guitars, steel guitar, banjo, accordion, cello, violin and of course lyrics! So together and a pleasure to hear too!
I keep coming back, ether there turning in to the greatest, or my understanding of music is growing in leaps and bounds. What a great coincidence! we sent rock to England and it came back the Beatles, then we sent our bluegrass to Norway and we got Hayde. WE should send all our music to some nice country in Europe to get educated!
What a wonderful Monday morning, a new Hayde video!! The fiddle, the mandolin, the dobro and all the rest of the instruments...... Perfection. United with the voice of an angel whose feet walk the earth. When are we going to get an album?? We need to support this band!
Still, My Favorite Band, These Young Christian Children are Courageous & Brave. Their Music vibrates off the Salt Water in My Body. Its Beautiful Music.
These guys are wonderful! They capture the spirit of American Bluegrass and transmit it beautifully. God bless these lovely musicians. (For the record, I'm an American Southerner. These guys get it, and I'm lovin' it!)
Just found these folks today - I have to say I think they sound better than many bluegrass groups here in the south. (US) Vocals and instrumentation are outstanding. I really hope they will continue to grow and release more music soon. Thanks for making my day !
Joakim does an excellent job of arrangements & the band lends their expertise of their talents to bring an this song to it's full potential. KUDOS to all.
I'm already supporting this group. As Always when I hear a group I really like I share it with my friends. Now if they would record a CD as supositally in 2020 they say, I could share it with others. They are worth supporting.
I've always loved blue grass from bands like the dirt band especially when they played with guests like mother Maybell Carter. They were so authentic...this is every bit as real and authentic as it gets. Mesmerizing at the least...I don't care where they are from... They are hillbillies.
message to the Hayde mob, please compare this version to the white clad Album Release version, this is far better and better suited to Rebekka's voice. Here her voice gets so close to breaking and screeching but it never does, -a great and beautiful skill - her pronunciation is wonderful and croaky. Compare the John Dee version of Senior to the newer version too.
