I have a 92 that I've had for 20 years. Been looking at lift kits. Seen your link. Pretty sure I'm gonna go with that lift. Eventually will do a v8 swap and put a flat bed on it
This is a very nice clean truck. Very nice work. I gotta correct you on the LED headlights being "plug and play." Toyotas used a switched ground which these lights aren't designed for. Nothing a simple $20 wiring harness won't fix! I bought the same ones partially because your installation video said they were plug and play. After talking to the Trucklite tech line, I bought and installed the wiring harness. I'm not disappointed though because they're awesome! I'm not sure how they work on yours without that modification...
Andrew Mueller hmmmmm....I called truck-lite myself before buying them on amazon.....they said no wire harness needed! Mine were just plug and play....been working fine since I’ve installed them..
Hey, nice truck man. I got a 92 standard cab with the 22re. Is yours an i4 or v6? I couldn't tell over the sound of the exhaust. And do you by chance know if your diffs have been regeared at all for the 33s?
I've got to ask that if you bought the lift kit you linked below (rough country for ~$670) did you consider anything else first that would be way more beneficial? I say this because I have the same truck (94 4x4) and need to do a lift for 33" tires but am buying the 4Crawler 2" Body Lift, followed by a 2" suspension lift with the Blazeland IFS long travel DIY weld up kit , coilover shock hoops, and for the rear will be mounting Ford F150 57" springs (3/1) which give ~3" in rear or more depending on shackle. Total costs will be roughly the same of the kit you linked in comments below but the benefits are 100% better over common block lifts due to the added long travel in front and increased flex springs in the rear. In both cases this is much better for off-roading, trails, rock crawling, etc.. Sorry to break it to you lol, but it really pays to do a lot of careful research when it comes to properly lifting a truck. Basic block lifts are just gimmicky and do nothing for actual performance benefits.
Jeff Chartier I bought the truck with the lift already installed......I don’t plan to rock crawl this truck....it’s too nice to scratch and bang up! It’s fine for light off road and great on the street. I’ll redo the suspension after a I get a Solid front axel and I’m on the hunt for v8 to swap !
Look at my comments for how to properly lift this truck without using blocks and spacers which in essence are gimmicks. I made some key choices which will pay off much greater when it comes to off-roading.
moquahd I’ve seen some videos on them and looks easier than getting a new dash (if you can find a good one) ....I’m definitely getting one and will post a video!
@@MonkeyBrainSushi Awesome. Just bought one if these. Had it shipped down to islands and it needs a replacement. The sun here is going make it get much worse. Will be looking forward to install video. I am subscribing now. Thanks for quick response!
Truck is awesome, I got an 89, it was near perfect till it got hit on passenger door, she still runs and keeps kickin ass, they’re great trucks

Hey jeff would you mind posting the links to your lift kits?
What kind of exhaust do you have on that thing
Is it a standard bed or long bed
Regular cab
How much did you invest into your truck?
Where’d you get your headlights
They are truck-lite headlights.
I have a 1990 Toyota pickup do you think that dual exhaust will fit mine?
It’s the same truck
Did you lift the suspension? I need a kit. It was perfect.
