In & Out!! Just say 'extra' something such as tomato, lettuce, pickles, onion, or everything and you get double the amount for free. Not sure about the meat patty or cheese and I don't think there is double bun. You do extra everything on a double double, the burger looks like 10% bigger than what you get on regular double double.
There is also In & Out's secret menu, but I think most stores don't some of the more unique ones like Flying Dutchman or Monkey Style.
Fries: Too soft or too hard for you? You can have them regular, light (light fried), or well done (extra deep fried) and there is also animal style fries but animal style fries has an extra cost.
What is it exactly I need to say to the KFC people to get more chicken for free??
aDg 2k18 Agreed one time they gave me a slimy food
If you order a salad at chipotle with all the same things you would get in your burrito bowl, you essentially get the burrito bowl for as much as $3-$4 off. The 2 protein hack applies here as well.
I tried the Chipotle hack from last week. Not only did it work, it worked in spades! I requested half chicken and half steak on my salad. I struggled to keep my mouth from falling on the floor as the girl put a FULL scoop of steak AND a full scoop of chicken on my salad for the regular price. I cant guarantee that will happen every time. But it was VERY rewarding! Thanks for the tip.
If the grill cook catches that ish, they gonna kill her. Nobody taught her portion sizes.
The same thing has happened to me for YEARS when I ask for half black beans half pinto! Every time they put a full scoop
Janae G
Wish my locations were that way. But, they think they need to put a half pound of guacamole on my salad. I’d rather have loads of beans and a taste of guacamole.
truepeacenik you can ask for more bean. They don’t cost more
truepeacenik because their guac is an extra charge and always one size. If you order chips and guac it’s the same portion of guac as if you add guac to your bowl.

Best hack for saving money at Starbucks? Get your coffee at McDonalds.
Or just brew it at home in the morning.
No comparison! I'd rather wait for the BOGO days at Starbucks and get 2 drinks. Save one for the next day!
Yeah, if you want to drink liquid shit 🤢
McDonald’s Coffee tastes like the cups they come in lmao
Omg Look At Me yet, still better than Starbucks lol
You're not creepy. Your candor is endearing. Don't change.
Matt Granite is the fucking man!
I agree. He's awesome valuable content
for chipotle u can ask for hard shells on the side and they give u 3 free hard shells so u can get a bowl and 3 tacos basically
This is correct. The side tortilla is also a thing. And you can ask for more than one but don’t get too crazy with it.
I always order my burrito like that, you get more and u get to stuff it at your leisure later so it won’t be soggy
They charge extra for the tortilla on the side now smh but you just blessed me with knowing I can get hard shells 🙌🏾
@@phoenixfox2697 we don’t do free tortillas anymore 🥲
Tortilla 25 cent now 😆
My nephew worked for KFC. At the end of the night the employees were taken home buckets of chicken every night. We ate so much KFC Chicken that we started to grow feathers.
oldcutler100 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Years ago, had a friend who worked for KFC. The chicken hack is true. They will also give you extra biscuits, sometimes not even charging you for them at all.
The same happened to me when my sons worked at KFC. I hate it now 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same with my mom. Lmao
Same thing when I worked at Starbucks, I use to take ton of sweets back home. When I worked at no name Pizza place, we stopped grocery shopping, until we had waaaay too much:)
I’ve been working at chickfila for the past year, and been experimenting on a lot of things you can do at chickfila
I’ll just list all of the tips I know:
Ask for the 5 count nuggets then tell them to be lettuce wrapped (we never charge for the lettuce wrap option) as of there you could eat it like a salad or order a bun on the side which cost more
In breakfast time you can order a breakfast filet which costs 1.64 grilled or fried and add a regular bun on the side (.25¢) (make sure it’s the regular bun, not the biscuit or the english muffin)
If you’re hungry get large frys they cost .30 more and geg 30-40% more
Ask for the original chicken sandwich and tell them to add tomatoes and pepper jack also ask the sandwich to be in a foil bag so that the tomato cooks in the bag, once you waited 1-2 mins add pepper if you want and you get a chicken parmesan sandwich
When you order an oreo shake you could ask them without shake base and you normally get a mcflurry out of it
Since 1979, I've been using the "no salt" trick at McD's to get fresh fries. PLUS... THEY TEND TO FILL UP THE CONTAINER MORE!!! ... That's right. If they take the time to specially pack an order, they'll pack it in. Ha!!! I've shared this trick for decades. The Deal Guy probably got this trick from me third hand. Ha!
Just ask for Made to order fresh fries. It’s a pain in the ass for the workers to make them without salt. So they prefer people just ask for made to order fries.
And you still will get them packed in.
@@BbGun-lw5vi naw, I’ve been to McDonald’s and asked for fresh HOT fries and I still get them lukewarm. Never had an issue with the no salt request. For as much as they charge, their fries need to always be fresh and packed in.
Thank you, you've saved me so much money while feeding my 4 kids. I always get 2 footlong Subway sandwiches an have them cut them into 4 parts. That way whatever kid wants/needs 2nds we have it.
why don't you just cook at home? Subway bread is loaded with sugar, your kids are going to develop diabetes
Every family has different needs. I have four kids too and use the same cutting it into four hack when we GET TO EMJOY GETTING OUT! We are all literally a healthy weight unlike most of America. My sister, who has to work like crazy, stayed with a week and she thought I was cooking from scratch most meals because she was there, nope, I don't get to eat out much and when I do it's staying on budget and gone or home I use the fact that I have time to my advantage. My sister doesn't have time and it shows. She has repeatedly spent 3xs as much as me to feed her family that is smaller than mine when she goes out and she goes out daily. That's because she can afford to but also due to a lack of time and lots of running around she needs to. She too is a healthy weight and so are her kids. If she couldn't afford eating out she would learn real quick that kids can eat what they get and they don't throw a fit but with all the running around and no time I don't think there would be any shifts to having time to make "healthier" food. As a past nutritionist every family needs to find a healthy way to eat for their family, it's not one size fits all rules, lifestyles, and diets. Even if someone heard from a professional "they MUST" stay away from something it doesn't mean everyone has to. @Sparkle Lopez, keep being an awesome mom thinking smart for your kids. God bless you!
@@SRose-vp6ew your weight doesn’t really tell you if you’re healthy. There’s nothing wrong with going out to eat but when eating out becomes the norm then you’re probably looking at having future health problems.
@@JesusBelandriaG because you don’t know their socioeconomic status. To get good healthy food is above some people budget... eating out is cheaper at times. It was very insensitive to comment that she’s giving her children diabetes when you know nothing of her life. Sometimes it’s best not to comment especially when you’re actually not helping.
I worked at Chick Fil a and can confirm the club hack. Also, their fries are surprisingly unprocessed (it’s literally just frozen potato fires with no additives) which makes them get soggy literally the second they get out of the fryer. Order your fries “well done” or “no salt” to get them hot and fresh. I have heard that they now have a “fresh” option as well but haven’t tried it out. Also, the small or “kids size” and medium sized beverages are almost exactly the same amount of liquid.
#2 From a Starbucks and general coffee addict .... ask for your favorite iced/cold brewed coffees and teas “ UNCUT “ . Uncut is the insider term that no barista will tell you unless you know a guy who knows a guy. Just take that home and add your own ice or order the cut of ice extra. Usually at no charge. Changed my life !
What does "uncut" mean?
AlllSmiless it’s a drug term usually associated with cocaine/meth. When you “cut” something, you basically dilute it to produce more. Example. 1 gram of pure cocaine would be “cut” with 1 gram of baby powder and mixed in, now you have 2 grams of 50% pure cocaine, doubling your profit. Cut two into four, four into eight, so on and so forth. You started with one and made 16. Sell and repeat step one and keep the rest of the money. Something that is “uncut” is 100% pure undiluted product.
@@AlllSmiless It's pretty much what @Nicholas said. Uncut is a term that means in the short " Less Than Pure " and coined in the drug industry and like many others carries into regular everyday life. Most places, exprecially coffee shops will Dilute "Cut" their cold brews and just about every drink with water. So a good barista would know the term " Uncut " BUT if they give you that sideways IDK dog glance just tell them " No Water " . Pure hot & cold brewed coffees are generally too strong for the average consumer.
Do most Starbucks have ice bins/dispensers that you can get your own ice?
iced coffee doesnt come "uncut". all cold brew is made in kegs now, pre cut with a 50/50 ratio. im not going to go in the back and get you cold brew from my 5L cube i just drained because you want it uncut. this isnt 2016 we dont have cold brew in pitchers bud
Just in case no one else says it out here in internetland, I love you too Deal Guy! Thanks for all of the money saving tips and humorous self deprecation!
It really bothers me that fast food resturants charge extra for tomato. I worked at BK in highscool and every other order asked for no tomato yet they don't give you a discount 🤦🏼♀️
Ya n they r saving lots with people taking off stuff and still would be if not charging for xtra..
Same thing if you get a drink without whipped cream at Starbucks only some of them will let you ask for mocha drizzle etc instead of it. You don't get it cheaper but I'm working on a hack to get them cheaper.
They still have to pay labor and rent if you don’t want tomatoes that your choice. I never order tomato either I sure tomatoes are a built cost unless you ask for extra or was not included as a original menu items
8pm GMT livestream!! - which drops are coming up this week and which bots will take stock?
I was a GM at KFC for 8 years , this is absolutely true but not so much after lunch , def closing time deals can be made cause you tryna get rid of that chicken
Fun Fact: I worked at Raising Canes for like 2 years and learned this trick to get an extra toast and piece of lettuce for FREE with your three finger combo. If you instead order the sandwich combo on toast with the sauce on the side, you will get the same amount of chicken with an extra toast for the same price!
THX for that tip as I always end up going back to buy another piece of that most DELICIOUS toast for taking home with my leftovers😋!!!
But you don't get coleslaw with the sandwich combo
@@10pcnug
Dang~I love their slaw, lol:)
Liisa Dapkus you don’t get it with the 3 finger either only the box combo and caniac
Or ask for an extra piece of Texas Toast with the two combo and extra sauce and make your own sandwich for much cheaper!
My fave fries are at Five Guys. They put them in the fry cup then pour more fries into your bag. Their fries are pretty much made to order. They are delicious
I've been asking for NO SALT FRIES for years at McDonalds.....it does take a little longer to get your order, but you do end up getting the freshest fries in the whole joint. Once you dip'em in ketchup or BBQ sauce you can't even tell there's no salt on them...
U can just ask them to make fresh fries n they have to.. then u get salty fries how they should be
EVOLVE FREELY exactly it’s a pain to make no salt. I work at McDonald’s
Soak potatoes in saline solution and freeze. That is the frozen fries 🍟
No salt on salt 😅
Sakeenah osman Exactly. I can’t stand that so many people keep talking about this no salt hack when they can just say made to order fresh. It’s much easier on the workers.
You know sometimes workers will just make some without salt because of this so they're still old...just less salt.
"Could I get a complicated order??!?!?"
😂 Bon QuiQui. King Burger. You can have it your way but don't get crazy! 😂
No you can have a coke
I started doing the chipotle hack on my own when I saw how small my burritos were turning out compared to a burrito bowl. ALSO! You can get up to 2-3 toppings as “extra” I always get extra rice, extra cheese, and a tortilla; all without getting charged. Even when you order on the chipotle app you can ask for extra without an up charge. Except guac of course!
Love these videos, keep them coming!
Thanks for the feedback Terri, glad you like the videos!!
You can ask for no salt on fries at any fast food restaurant to get fresh fries, and just ask for salt packets to control the amount of salt.
The workers will probably judge you tho 😅 (just a warning)
Literally, just ask for fresh. Asking for no salt makes them have to either clean all the salt out of the station to keep salt off your fries or they have to to fish them out of the basket with tongs to put them in a carton, which is a great way to burn your hand. So if you are not wanting no salt, please just ask for fresh.
@@gracewooton9449 I've never had that happen.
@@janicespangler5551 You could but I've never received fresh fries when asking for fresh fries. I'd rather have fries dropped for me without salt. I've watched how the fries are retrieved when they're for customers asking for no-salt fries and they don't clean the salt out of the fry station. They either retrieve them with tongs after the basket has sat hooked to drain for 5+ mins or poured directly into the container after it has been sitting to drain. When I worked at a fast food restaurant that's how we did it and so does family members who now work at some fast food restaurants.
@@janicespangler5551 I agree. We always drop fresh fries when it says cook to order.
Also at subway and pretty much any fast food place if you tell them that you have a food allergy (I am allergic to tomatoes) they can't give you any of the vegetables on display and have to use the fresh vegetables from the fridge for backups because even though they change their gloves every customer they use the same pair from start to finish of the sandwich and can't guarantee that cross contamination hasn't happened. And remember to tip good.
McDonald's gets very creative with McNugget prices. A 10 nugget meal here (Boston area) is about $9 with tax. However, you can get 6 nuggets for $2, then add a "bundle" deal to get 4 nuggets and a small fries for $3, then buy a $1 drink. For $6, you get a bit less fries than for $9, but I'm OK with that.
On the same vein as your off-times for KFC, if you go right as breakfast is ending at Chick Fil A, they will normally include a free breakfast item with your purchase. We did this all the time when I worked there- it lets people try our breakfast items, and helps us not throw the food away.
The no salt fries trick also works at Chick-fil-A to get you fresh, hot fries.
It also works at Wendy's and you can do it with the app
But salt makes them better 😓
I don’t even worry about not getting fresh fries at Chick-fil-A. They are always so busy that they must be pumping out fresh fries 24/7 while they are open
many times they actually just put the already salted fries back in the fryer to rinse off the salt lol
@@elviseinstein5944 ask for a salt packet.
Old school chipotle hack, but the burrito bowl and ask for wraps to go....u’d be amaZed how far that bowl can go
Deal Guy, it may be just 10 cents here and there but if you do this multiple times over a lifetime? It adds up quick! It's not like these hacks only work once!!!! Thanks for helping us single moms save! You rock!
Good stuff Matt! Love these. Also, I bought the backpack from the deal you posted where you can get this very nice pack for $19. Just came in the mail on Saturday. LOVE IT! Thank Matt!
The McDonalds app always has a coupon, for me at least, for a $1 large fry. I'll order a sandwich like the McDouble, their $1 large drink and a $1 large fry.
Personally I would get a cup of water and save another dollar.
Omg your profile picture! I love Seinfeld!
They only allow a medium drink in my app for a buck..hack is to order a large outside the app for the same buck
My app always has 'free large fry with any purchase' lol, I always get a cone 😅
That’s how I got through college
If you go to a pizza place and ask if no one picked up their order, they will heat that pizza for you & give it to you for 1/2 off.
There’s a lot of hacks at black Bear Diner. I’m not sure if it’s all of the restaurants but the one I️ used to work at pickles, chocolate chips, and extra toppings are free. Like for example, in an omelette you can ask for extra cheese or mushrooms and maybe even the meat for free depending on how the server rings it up. Also, if you want extra gravy just wait until after you get your food because they’ll usually give you a full size on the side rather than a tiny bit extra on the plate. Also I️ would always ask for cracked eggs. For toast you can do a free substitution for a pancake or French toast. They also do a free garlic fry sub instead of normal fries which aren’t even on the menu.
Dairy Queen French fries (when they're actually cooked well and have a crunch) are some of the best fries that are never, and likely will never, be talked about. 😋😋
A&W has amazing fries too!
Matt, I tried the protein hack at Chipotle....asked for a combo of steak and chicken. I could tell there was additional meat just by the weight! It was great. Thanks for another great tip!
Hahah...your gestures are hilarious and I love the restaurant hacks, especially ChicFilA and Chipotle’s Thanks a mil☺️
Thanks for being here with me :)
I love that chipotle hack! We used to do half and half bowls and have tortillas & avocado at home (: also thanks for you fresh vegetables information, because I can't eat food that's been sitting out very long! Sometimes even their bread is difficult. the KFC thing is nice! I've gotten free biscuits and extra sides at the end of the day for free! Thanks for this and the Aldi tips too!
Kfc don’t throw away their chicken. They debone it and make it into chicken pot pies. I used to be a cook there.
So the pot pies don't come in frozen?
Thats better than frozen at a factory and shipped in lol
Them pot pies are goooood af
😳
Thanks for your tips. For a hard-working person, saving any amount of money is worthwhile when trying to eat out with a family of four. That $0.05 of savings then turns into $0.20 of savings. In the long run it adds up. Oh and Chick-fil-A is the only fast food restaurant I've seen that credits you when removing something from a sandwich (e.g. no tomato on a deluxe removes $0.20 from the total price just as it would add $0.20 to the total price of a regular chicken sandwich).
Do they still do this?? I swear I would have noticed that!!
Matt, thanks for videos. I have forwarded many of your videos to friends and family. Keep up the good work!
Means a lot! Thanks for being here
Never order Size medium fries at Chick Fil-A....! The small is the exact same amount or more
Good tip!
I used to work at chick fil a. It really depends who’s on fries for the day, some are generous and some aren’t. Small fries are not worth the risk sometimes
Kinda bugs me chicfila is supposed to be all wholesome and religious, yet partake in all the same sketchy maneuvers the rest do.
Yes, they are also cutthroat capitalists. They have to compete too
@@thedealguy You should test that out everywhere. Get all the sizes, and then measure the fries. I don't know how many times we went to McDonald's and I got the large fries and my ex got the medium fries. And then dumped them on our trays to her having more fries than me. Sometimes it was the same amount, others she had more. I dont ever remember a time where the large had more fries.
Matt is the most supportive person in my life right now
Don't order a drink
Agreed
or ask for a "Senior Beverage" (if you are old enough). Some places it is only 50 cents or free.
@Shadow Life Ask for no ice in your beverages. My family and I always do this, especially at Starbucks and Sonic
I never order unless I’m splurging on myself and it’s never on random soda
@@whatever5922 👍 agreed
This is not for fast food, but when a friend and I go to Carrabba's, she takes her leftovers home. She always asks if she can have bread and the stuff to dip it in in her bag.
Thanks for the tips!! The salt on McDonald's fries is a finer power type salt. I ask for fresh fries, salted. They may get annoyed, but they will throw in a fresh batch for you if you ask them to!
Dunkin’ Donuts, I my experience in 1 hour before close especially if the people are new they will give you extra donuts or donuts holes or almost anything. They have to count everything at the end of each night so they would rather give it away
Great tip! I wonder what other places this works..
The Deal Guy, this hack works at Einstein Bagels too. Go in maybe 30 minutes before closing, and ask, "Do you have any bargains on end of the day bagels?" I've gotten 6 bagels for $2, and a couple of times, some 'schemr ' that's due to expire, or has been out on the production line thrown in or for $1-$2.
@@thedealguy Most fast food sushi places, since it's pretty grim the next day. End of the day is usually at least 30% off
Starbucks often will give you extra bakery items if you make a decent sized order at close as I had ordered two teas, two muffins. I also happened to get a free venti sized pumpkin latte that they had because a customer has wanted it iced. Sometimes I'll use my Stars to get sandwiches and they will throw in an extra one or two just because it's the end of the day.
@@thedealguy Convenience stores with fast food (burritos, egg rolls, corn dogs etc) will load you up for free at closing time, with everything left, because they throw it away. On Facebook, I've seen convenience store workers saying "PLEASE come in at closing time and get our hot case snacks so we don't have to throw them away". No one bothers, so if you're up at 11 pm (or whenever they close) call ahead and ask if they have left overs to toss out and if you can come get them. Then be kind and share!! Great for college students. Share or freeze and reheat in the microwave or air fryer. You're welcome!❤😂
When I was vegetatian that beefy frito burrito ...substitute beef for pinto or black beans was my staple. & a side of guac ...& fresco style
My mom has always done the no salt on her fries at McDonald's so she could get fresh fries since I was little! And I'm old now! Also if you ask for extra pickles or no onions you'll get a fresh sandwich!
I have a pro Jimmy Johns tip! NEVER buy the #17, which is a ham sandwich with 3 slices of bacon. Instead buy the #13 which is the EXACT SAME PRICE but it has ham, 4 slices of bacon, AND cheese! You just have to customize the #13 by adding on tomatoes and lettuce which are FREE!
I already do similar Chipotle and Subway hacks and I don't eat at the other places you mentioned, but great tips to get you thinking. Thanks!
Thanks for being here Jamie!
I mean if you’re trying to save money for lemonade from Starbucks, just make your own, it’s 25 cents
Lemons are pricey right now. The past couple Spring seasons have been too hot for decent production. 50¢-$1 each. And you’ll need probably one lemon for a single glass of lemonade. Sugar, water, and ice are negligible.
@@kimmyball4961 lemons are outrageous 😳😭
You can Freeze it too
The "go when close to the store closing" works for Papa Murphy's too. If they have any pizzas that people ordered but didn't pick up they might give em to you at a discount.
Just wanted to say I love your content and delivery. Really helpful tips and I always appreciate someone self-deprecating like myself. Keep it up!
Always ask for Big Mac sauce at the 2nd window and they wont charge you 😉 Tasted excellent with Fries and McDoubles (Big Mac Hack)
Same thing with waiting to get mayo at the second window, otherwise some places charge for them to add to the sandwich. I always take the ketchup and mustard off you would think they wouldn't charge you to put something else on it but half the time they do. Wendy's is the most accommodating and real tasting when it comes to cheap fast food. grab a $2 buck key chain and you have a rightly portioned small frosty desert every time you go for the whole year. And the money you just spent goes to help kids over 8 in foster care find homes.
I’m cheap that in Starbucks I ask for “triple shot iced espresso in a venti cup topped with 2% milk and 6 pumps of caramel syrup.” For $3.15 instead of asking for a caramel iced latte and paying $5.35
anything over 4oz we will charge for, even if you ask for extra whatever. youre going to get charged 3.15 for the espresso, .60 for the milk, and .70 or whatever for your syrups. good try though
heyitsfadfad still a little cheaper tho
I work at starbs and it’s amazing the “hacks” people have
@@nicolegore1169 I guess so. But you're making it significantly harder on us, especially with these new machines I don't want to see a bajillion modifications when it could've just been an iced caramel latte
Super helpful hacks! You gotta stop being so hard on yourself socially man. You are super entertaining & seem like a great person. Thanks for making these videos & best to you & the family!
1. Five Guys has the best fries.
2. Does the "Bargain chicken at closing" trick work at other Fried Chicken places like Popeye's or Church's?
3. While I already knew a few of the tips, it is good to be reminded and learn some new ones. THANKS.
First time watching!! Great video! 😃
Thanks Sharon!
Favorite fries gotta be at Del Taco mmm . That No Salt hack works EVERYWHERE from fast food to sit down places like Red Robbin 🤤😉
TOTALLY AGREE!! 👍 ASK FOR A SIDE OF QUESO CHEESE AND DIP AWAY!!!
I always order on BK.
Heavy Mayo
Heavy pickles
Heavy onion
And fries NO Salt.( They have to make them fresh because they always slamming the salt shaker on them.)
Soda drink no Ice.
And you make your money working on your favor.
Of course always log on there app because the post discount and sometimes you don't get the alerts.
Last week they have the Woopers for $1.

If something already is on a Burger King sandwich or burger, there is no charge for extra of that item (Same with Carl's Jr./Hardees). So I used to order a Whopper with heavy everything and would get that with no additional charge.
Love all your hacks. Thanks for all of your hard work.
Thanks for being here Lynda!
I LOVE YOU GUY GREAT PRESENTATION!!!!
Can you do one like this, but for like CHAIN RESTAURANTS: olive garden, outback steakhouse etc
A Starbucks hack i do is when ordering a frappachino a smaller size in a larger cup. They always have extra left in the blender I almost always get the amount of of the larger size.
In-and-out Burger will give you a free water cup if you do not buy a drink. There are sliced lemons at the counter,so free lemonade
KFC one is true. I work there, and we call it a "manager's special." Frankly, it pains me to throw away all that perfectly good chicken. We do repurpose some of it for pot pies, but usually at least a dozen good pieces go in the bin every night. KFC will let us take pretty much what we want of it, but no one can eat that stuff every day of the week and not have a stroke. So yeah, come get the trash chicken. We close at 10.
🤣 that's cool of them to do so. I remember one late evening (late dinner) I order one bucket to go and for some reason I got a lot of extra chickens like almost two buckets, I thought they made a mistake 😂 but now I know it's because of their closing time and I must have been one of their last few customers.
@@inkbold8511 Update: I'm sick to death of KFC, and the smell of it alone turns my stomach. However, I still hate throwing out perfectly good food, especially since those poor chickens gave their all just to be chucked in the trash. So I've started grabbing pretty much everything I can at the end of the night, and have been delivering it to my neighbors up and down the block in succession. It was kind of weird at first to knock on their doors at 11 p.m. with a bucket of chicken, but they're used to it now. All the neighborhood kids call me "the chicken lady." I even dressed up as a chicken for Halloween, and handed out those little minicakes to the kids.
Speaking my language Matt! This is why it takes me a long time to order now with apps. It's like playing a game and I'm trying to win a few bucks every time. Did this recently at Dollar General, spent 30 minutes in the store with the app and saved $6! Felt like such a winner too. Crazy for some people, but I aint rich and I love saving money on things I need.
My favorite past time! I love saving money!!! Whether its 10 cents or $10 bucks, its all great to me!
So you stop by a DG and purchase a couponed item, you will also get that $5 off $25 receipt, you then go flip another transaction that is higher and you save even more! Do this everywhere, I am a couponer and generally spend $.50 to $1.00 for shampoos, soaps, and detergents, diapers and more!
@@ginacarr1067 that's what I'm learning, double up on the savings. It's fun and puts money in my pocket
@@DonJoeBob do you follow FB and Instagram coupon deals? I work at a retail pharmacy and I have learned so much. My couponers have me following deals and it is fun!
@@ginacarr1067 I don't yet. Probably should though. Feel free to through suggestions my way
YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!! Just discovered your channel and i’m a big fan already!!!
Thank you so much for your hard work. I really enjoy these videos, there's a lot of info.
Jimmy John's you can get their bread they use for sandwiches for 25 cents @ end of day.
Blech!
I eat at Wendy's all the time and I may have found a deal you missed. Instead of ordering 10 piece regular crispy chicken nuggets, which is $2.89 at my local Wendy's, order a 4 piece nuggets ($0.99) AND a 6 piece nuggets ($1.59) and save $0.31. This doesn't work with spicy nuggets at my restaurant. Check your local restaurants to find out if you can save money too!
For hack #5 if you want free water, just ask the employee at the pick up window (where you pick up your food, if its the paying window, they will charge you). They always give me a small cup for free when I ask, sometimes a large cup if I'm lucky
I'm sure ppl already do same, but when I had small kids, I would get the 2 cheeseburger meal. And get large meal. Voila, 2 kids fed. Get large meal on someone else's sandwich. Share fries n pop. They get sandwich only. If still getting kids meal, and one other child doesnt like fries, give them the fruit or yogurt from kids meal. And.....ask what toy is that week, and buy single toy only for which ones they actually want while serving up reg. sandwiches/meals. And at mcd's also, for bigger kids/adults, if one sandwich isnt enough, add cheeseburgers as a second filler. I often get 4-6 extra cheeseburgers. And when moneys low or Im just going to bring food home, I just get a lot of cheeseburgers and bacon mcdoubles, couple large fries, and whatever drinks at home. Even grabbing a 2 liter at gas station is cheaper than 6 drinks.
Hi Matt, Thanks for the tips! An addition to the Chipotle tip ... we get 1 bowl and ask for 2 tortillas ... and there is no extra charge ... plus they will give you extra of everything except for the protein and guac for FREE! My BF and I do that everytime and it's awesome!!! Keep the videos coming!
Question on the kfc hour before closing. Do you initiate the extra chicken or sides, or do they?
I worked at KFC starting when I was 19 and did it 4years. You're absolutely right the best time is during closing because we do have to count our chicken after closing and in locations where they make pot pies we have to debone the meat(no wings or legs) bag it up weigh it date it freeze it leave some bags in walk-in if more potpies we're going to need to be made the next day depending on how many were already set up for the next day . So extra chicken at the end of closing is extra work. Managers don't wanna stay because they're working with teenagers******Hidden BONUS Behind The Counter TIP******* nine times out of ten the workers at night will be very young adults or teenagers 😏you can ask these workers for the "hook up" 😁10minutes to closing Me; "hey, what do you have left in the window? Oh about two 16pc, Ok I get 8pc hey,I'll give ya couple $ to make that a 20 pc... Cashiers; Aight!...
and more often than not we will always have extra thighs for sure and depending on your area extra wings but you'll get that and then some if you thank and throw $2 more for a tip then you get a cake the cake too🎉
🤗 glad to help
P. S. BONUS!!!! IF YOU DO GO AT THE END OF THE NIGHT IN YOUR LOCATION SELLS POTATO WEDGES 20 YEARS AGO WHEN I WORKED THERE THEY WERE $0.05 A PIECE AND WE WOULD HAVE TO COUNT ANY LEFTOVERS ONE BY ONE. IF YOU ORDER POTATO WEDGES AT THE END OF THE NIGHT YOU WILL MOST LIKELY GET A BISCUIT (LG side/family size) BOX FULL OF THEM FREE IF YOU ASK!
Cool that's awesome advice 😂 maybe I should try this one day.
And if you can see their name tag It will always help to use their name on you will stand out in the employee's mind and it will help you faster gain that report Another HIDDEN BONUS WAY BACK IN THE DAY THEY USED TO USE GREASE FROM THE ORIGINAL RECIPE FRYER TO SEASON THE GRAVY THIS WORKS REAL NICELY AT HOME BUT ONCE YOU GAIN A REPORT WITH THE WORKER YOU CAN ASK THEM CAN YOU JUST TAKE A LITTLE GREASE OUT OF THE FRYER WITH THE TONGS AND PUT IT IN THE GRAVY AND IT WILL TASTE LIKE IT DID WHEN YOU WERE A KID IF You're as OLD as ME LOL
Love the tips, awesome channel, nice useful products you recommend are nice. Thanks Matt
McD's fries are the best, when hot - thanks for the tip - I will be sure to always use this in the future. Have a great day Matt.
so is the ones at cook out when its super fresh....
It truly works. I used to make the fries at McDonald's and one person would stop by and always order fresh fries without salt. I do that also and then ask for salt packets at the pickup window.
For Starbucks. Save a cup. Just simply ask for a tall in a grande cup with light ice or a grande in a venti cup with light ice. You’ll be charged the price for the size beverage you want
You mean reuse an old cup? Or bring a reusable cup? Will the fill it to the top?
Lulujoy you can simply say As an example I’d like a Grande Iced Latte in a Venti cup and they’ll prepare it as Matt described. You’ll get 16 fluid ounces and they’ll give it to you in a Venti cup. The ice will fill up the rest of the cup. No need to bring a cup or keep a cup. They’ll serve you that size. The espresso beverages is all about the amount of shots in the drink which is the real basis of the cost. A venti iced comes with 3 and Grande 2, tall 1. Really that’s what you’re paying for.
as a starbucks employee and shift manager, i have NO clue what you just said. if you ask for a grande in a venti with light ice, youre going to get a grande amount of drink and ice, in a venti cup, with nothing extra. youre going to have an extra 10oz left of space in your cup. youre going to get the appropriate amount of liquid of the beverage that you ask for. nothing more nothing less..
heyitsfadfad ok that’s your opinion but it can be filled to the top line of the venti with the beverage itself (which is equivalent to a 16 oz grande beverage) and have the remaining 8 ounces filled with ice. Venti ice is a 24 oz cup not 26 if I’m understanding your math.
Matt’s point was to get one cup with no ice so in this example a full 16 oz beverage filled to the top and get a second cup with only ice. My point was to combine the two in one cup and save some plastic is all. Most baristas will honor that order
@@heyitsfadfad I mean normally don’t pay attention when I am on bar. I work at a drive thur. Especially when it’s stressful I tend to just see the cup and drink. If it’s a refresher I tend to put a little more on the drink. Honestly I will probably full grande amount of drink since it saves me time then just ice. I still like it in a bigger cup ether way I prefer the bigger straw lol. But I definitely done this and watched them.
In the early eighties and late seventies, you could get day old chicken from KFC for a dollar a bag full of cold day old chicken.
Lmao in the 80s the gas were under a too. That's too long ago to be revenant now 😂
Omg. Great tips. Keep them coming. Yesss.
Love your tips!
Thanks for being here Sandy!
Having worked at McDonald’s for 5 years, the McDonald’s one about fries with no salt is very true. They have to do it for any reason. We did it all the time.
I love this! Wishing You and Yours, All Good Things! 💛
Just found your channel and I Love Deals!🙌🏽
I've been doing the no salt fries at McDonals for years. You can also choose 0 salt fries using the app which is sweet.
Do they give u less fries out of spite for making em doit ?
@@jordantalley6386 no, I've never had issues with quantity. Guaranteed to be 100% fresh. You can add your own salt if you want.
Not true about the Whopper jr. As a manager of Burger King if you order a cheeseburger with the light everything you're going to get light ketchup and light mustard and that is it
Thank you for what you do. It saves us busy people lots of time and money.
Great tip about the no salt fries. Thank you for this!
I worked at McDonald's and we had to remake fries every 7min because they normally don't last that long.
Probably because they are too floppy. Need to cook them longer
@@dougs7367 their basically saying everyone get fries so they don't last long before they have to make another batch
I worked for McDonald's 20 years, the fries expire after 7 minutes. And it's so annoying when busy and u ask for salt on no salt fries! Just ask for fresh fries! The salt is in a premeasured salt shaker....lol thank goodness I dont work there anymore!😂😂
Drenna Cardosa 👏 me too
@@couponwithbean I always get so annoyed at people spreading the no salt fries "hack". It's obnoxious, self centered, and unnecessary. Any half decent McD's will just make you a fresh batch if you ask, and you won't be forcing some overworked underpaid person to stop to take the time to clean out the salt from the fry bin during a rush.
Just discovered this guy. Pretty awesome
Just subscribed to your channel bro . This is great !
I used to work at subway, we never had stale vegetables. We went through several containers a day. If you really want to have something to worry about when it comes to the fresh vegetables it should be that out of all 4 stores I worked in,I was the only one that washed the vegetables before cutting them...
Best fries are at Five Guys. Order them well done and they'll be crispy.
crispy for 20 mins only and then it turns soggy....
Five Guys is overpriced Food and not worth it... And there Fries are OK at best.
I highly disagree, @songfta. I used to manage a walk-up food bar in an Atlanta flea market so I know my way around French fries.
One day a couple years ago I received a coupon in the mail for Five Guys. I had not been there so used the coupon the next time I was near one of their shops. The fries were so bad that I wrote to the company to complain. What did they do about it? They sent me another coupon for their fries! LOL!! To be fair, I did use the coupon and, yes, the fries were just as bad the second time.
The bag is always soaking in oil......and those fries are limp
Lol, I actually like soggy fries 😅. The cajun fries are *alot* better than the regular ones
My favorite fries are at Raising Cane's chicken. My mouth is watering just thinking about them! Especially dipped in fry sauce. 🤤
My favorite is the texas toast! So good.
I do love their Texas Toast!
It’s so busy all the time now!
I love Cane's, the problem: if you eat there it chicken is like lava, if you take it home the fries are not crispy.
solution: eat the fries on the way home ;)
Kelly Matthews Agree. Ours is a good 15 minutes away so the fries tend to disappoint by the time we get home. I mean we still eat them but 😆.
Awesome info!!
At Hardee’s / Carl’s Jr. in the morning you can get 2 sausage egg biscuits for $2.99 each OR you can get 2 sausage biscuits for $2.29 and an order of 2 eggs for $1.00. $3.29 vs $5.98. Sounds like a no brainer to me.
....the club at chick fil a has cheese too. In my area it is $6.79 and the classic is $5.35. Bacon is an extra $1.14 and cheese is $0.30. So it's the same exact price.
Yes! I’m a former CFA employee. That is correct.
You can ask for no salt on your burger patties to ensure they are fresh at McDonald's.
Thank for the great work u do
You honestly add value to my day bro 🙏
