- I'd looked out this route sometime ago and finally got the opportunity to undertake it given the recent good weather - however in all honesty the route was still a little much for me. Regardless it was a thoroughly enjoyable wild camp with beautiful views and weather to match!

Every time (I never learn, don’t want to ...😬) I do a route that turns out, with hindsight, not to be a route that I wouldn’t have chosen, I always say to myself “if I didn’t go I wouldn’t know...”.
Very very rarely ever regret it.

haha yeah now some of those WERE chilly!!! I get thats not for everyone.. but if you've got the right kit its actually a lot more manageable than you might imagine...
Cracking wee hill for a wild camp Tam. Cannae beat conditions like that. 😎👌 Sounded tough, but nothing your big chunky tyres cannae handle eh. 😉
Aye kev the chunky tires can handle it but ma chunkier mid section no so much!!! Still great wee outing!!
Sounded like a real tough one, looking back they are sometimes the best ones, the sense of achievement you get from it. The views definitely were worth it.
Totally agree Gary - it is a sense of achievement... made the hanging around the summit area and views all the more worth while!!
