Love seeing that our TaZer JL Mini made the cut. We always appreciate the information you put out for the Jeep community
You bet!
I added that Brawlee tailgate light to my old JK and wired it into the dome light, so it would automatically come on when I opened a door. Mine also came with a physical remote so I could control it even if my doors were off.
Great job! I've been waiting for the close outs for the JL steel front bumper with the ends removed. Ordered mine today.
Rock slider capable side steps. Wide enough to block/stop the mud splatter
Oh man! I had no idea that there were extra wires under the dash for both the aux switches and the two extras. Thank you for sharing this info! I will definitely be changing how I have my dashcam wired now.
Still supporting since the start ! Greatly appreciate all the efforts , education , product leads and of course the trails !!!! KEEP KILLING IT BRUTHA !!!! Oh I've had the exact opposite here in Pittsburgh , more condensation with soft top...
Appreciate it. It's so cool seeing comments from you guys that have been watching for years.
Welcome back Casey! Good and helpful video. Keep up the good work!
thanks! appreciate it. it's good to be back
I have had nothing but trouble with my Mopar floor mates. The drain may snap in, but soon after they snap out. Any water crossing and my carpets are soaked. I cut the drain out and capped both the floor and the mat. I love the mod, no more water issues.
Good tip on the two wires - haven’t seen that one
I added up all that Americas Most Wanted Jeeps do to a Hellcat engine swap and it isn’t that unreasonable the price. They really make only a little off the labor they put in.
I do believe the first mod on any Wrangler is a JL Taser. It opens up so much for the vehicle. Great video as always Casey! Looking forward to more.
Ya the taser does so much now.
I'd like to see a comparison of inner fender liners to accompany a fender split.
Love the simple, practical mods! Even helps spur some ideas for a guy with a JKU!
Right on!
All about the Floor Mats. That's probably the first thing we did when we got the JL ... I look in there now and think, "wow, this would have been a mess." Ours are from Rough Country... Yes, I said that out loud.
Great auxiliary switches info
I use weathertech floor mats, they been pretty solid!
good timing on this one! I just installed a dash cam with parking monitoring/motion but it requires constant power...nice to know since I have the aux buttons it will be easy peasy! Keep up the good content!
Ya it's unbelievabley easy.
For floormats, I can't recommend the weathertechs enough. Granted mine are the quaratec branded weather tech mats, but they are the same just with a quadratec logo on them.
They go further up on the trans tunnel and the sides by the door than the OEM all weather mats and that's what sold me. Biggest issue with them is not having the drain plug, but after 2 years and almost 50k I haven't had a need to use the drains, even with water fording deeper than jeep recommends.
Quadratec Ultimate All Weather Floor Liner Triple Combo for 14-18 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door
Quadratec
I have these in my TJ and JLU and really like them. Sturdy an hold lots of water
Great video! I actually love the Mopar all weather floor mats. And they are great with the cut outs if you want to wash out debris without taking them out. Weather Tech also make some pretty good "laser cut" mats for both the Wrangler and the Gladiator. Again love the video!
Appreciate the feedback! Thanks for watching
Every time I have had condensation in my Jeep, it’s because my door seals weren’t doing their job. All my footwells and carpet, soaked. Turns out the seals just needed to be adjusted with some $15 amazon weather seal tape on standby!
I use the same Jeep ones you use in your JLURD and I love them. I live in a muddy winter climate and love being able to hose out the mats using the drain holes. I’d be more interested in a rear cargo mat comparison. I have a dog and hate getting pet hair stuck in the carpet but ai’ve had a hard time choosing the right JLU cargo liner
Do a video on what to get for beginners learning the overland way, like do’s and don’t on what to get ?? Set a budget to it too. Just an idea .
Its on my list :)
I think the condensation might be related to the tailgate vents being blocked by the tailgater….my table stands off the door to allow those vents to function…just a possibility
I was thinking the same thing
Thanks Casey! My nephew-in-law loved his #safety2nd t-shirt (he is a safety inspector). Great idea for the fenders. I have WeatherTech in my JL and F250 great product. On videos just keep up what you are doing. Hey I have 20 subscribers I just want to get to 500. I am just working on my "style".
Great video. I been trying figure out a way mount camera on on my jku 2016 model make video for RUclips be great to do video as suggestion.
Oooo paddles. I'd love to add that to my 6 speed manual
😂
Uhhhhhhhhh LOL
Hey Casey! I think a winch review would be a great video with real life experience using them. Everyone always says warn is the way to go, but with so many other brands, it'd be nice to know how they perform as well. Plus with the price point of a warn winch, not everyone can afford them so maybe doing a best budget winch review would be an idea too
That's a good one. I know of a few people with different winches
I've been looking for those closeout panels for the JT stubby bumper. Just ordered them with your discount code, THANKS!!!
Awesome. Ryan's a cool dude and it's good to support the independent companies making products.
just remember to pressure wash out the mud and debri occasionally to avoid bumper rot.👍
@@blueman5924this is the reason I don’t have them…
I thought about making those plates for the stubby bumper but decided against it as a place to build up too much mud and debris and keeping it moist in there. Lea icing it to rust
I’ve actually come up with a nice alternative dash cam solution that is more compatible with the hard top than soft top. 4 items: micro SD card, Kingslim DL12 Pro, hard wiring kit, and a dash cam mount kit that I actually had to modify a little bit to mount the rear cam to the inside of the rear window to get a good view over the spare tire and the rear wiper keeps the view clean. My fav inexpensive mod for JLU though are the roll bar saddlebags. I store tools, paper towels, a spare jacket all in there and then have space to roll up small blankets for the kids and tuck them between the bags and the 3rd side windows. Most handy accessory I’ve added for sure!
Any photos?
Good video 👍
Thanks!
Nice video Casey and I didn't know about those additional wires beneath the dash! It's like getting two more auxiliary options. I think it would be nice to see the order of your modifications and maybe why you did this mod first over the other one. For example, I want to build my Wrangler up to 37s. But obviously I just can't put 37s and call it good. Do I need to have a bigger brake job first or a lift first, change the drive shaft, etc., etc,. I have a good idea of what to do, but I have found out along the way if you get this done, this other mod has to be done at the same time. So maybe something along those lines would be useful
Great idea. I think that's going to be the premise for the next jeep build series
Floor mat comparison would be awesome
Love the mods and videos Casey. Especially the light on the top of the hatch. Looks really good at nite....
maybe we can see you doing some Mud riding in the Wrangler sometime? Just a suggestion..... thanks 👍
Ya. It needs front drive shaft rebuild. Planning a trip to epic for a vlog and some maintenance
@@Casey250 sounds goods...👍
Like to see more hanging out with other overland RUclipsrs not just all driving though I like that part to
I have the factory ones in my gladiator. Want to upgrade to armorlite flooring
Hey Casey , i think it will eventually dry out inside , but one thing use outside air for your heat , don’t use re-centric air with heat because the condensation will have no way to escape .. 👍 ok i use “Weather Tech “ floor matts , they are laser cut and for me personally are the best you can buy , down here in the states anyway👍
Does the dashcam save to a local SD card? I have the aux switches so I think I’ll do that mod. Also, super excited about the paddles, gonna do that too.
Yes. I have a 256gb card in it and it is motion activated when the jeep is off as well
Nice
Can you share jeep ecodiesel specific upgrades- mods for overheating and high pressure fuel pump failure prevention....
Engine swap lol. I don't really know of any other then in my maintenance video keeping all the filters changed regularly and engine clean and radiator clean. HPFP is a recall and its suppose to be good.
Which size works best for the tubing?…Appreciate your content.
I believe the 6mm is what I linked. I bet the 10mm would also work.
Husky floor mats here. Work great in the snow… drain hole unnecessary.
Tuxmats my friend
When I switched from a soft top to hardtop I had to start keeping moisture absorbing bags in it.
Thats interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Weather tech floor mats
Now that you have a hard top, you could move the rear dash cam to the hatch glass now and see/record the traffic behind you now.
lol your right!
So I had the rocks/pebbles issue in my fenders as well and ordered the weather stripping you mentioned and have. Any issues with corrosion on the metal side? Does it hold water? Thought about that as I was installing it
Sorry not sure quite what your asking.
@@Casey250ha, my bad. Let ne try again. I put the stripping for the fenders to keep rocks out like you had done. Just curious if you think that the stripping holds water in that location which could over time cause issues with the metal side adjacent to the fender? I think the fender slightly recesses off the car so water can come out. I had this issue on my 97 Sahara
I haven't seen anything of concern so far.
Ant thoughts on GoArmorLite? For a liner for the whole jeep that’s removable
ya - but it isn't an easy mod haha. I really like that system from what I saw at EJS.
@@Casey250 that’s true. I’ve thought about it. However I guess I didn’t think about the actual process of removing everything inside the vehicle to lay it out
Damn! I wish I would have watched this before I installed my dash cam. I ended up running wire into the fuse box.
Ooph. Ya. Hopefully I can help as many people as I can. If it's any consolation my VHF radio is wired all the way into the engine bay to the aux switches there since I didn't know about under the dash lol
You shouldn’t just accept that much moisture in tour JT. Take it back to Whiterock and have them put it under sprinklers. Chances are, you’ve got leaking Freedom Panel seals? I’m taking my 2023 392 in to have my seals replaced for a second time.
I do have a leaking panel - but I installed the hard top. I've almost got it fixed thru adjustments.
Your demonator have service 4wd on your dash? Anything wrong with 4wd or just because swapped axel?
It wasn't started. Once its starts the missing factory light is suppressed with the tuner.
Hey Casey, how’s things with the diesel jeep?
My wife fell in love with a 3.8, so now we have the
LSTJ
3.6JK
3.8JK
ANY advice as to mods on what I should do to the 3.8?
Engine swap 🫣 my JK 3.8L is rough. Theres tons of mods. I'd recommend figuring out its purpose before planning mods.

She’s gonna be a daily with the occasional novice trail no heavy duty rocks or too deep mud
Sitting on 315’s and not going bigger
Already 3” lift nothing bigger
35s and roll with the lift you have. Upgrade as things wear out or you find you need an improvement you need
@@Casey250
Already ordered the banks intake and a viper throttle body, live wire ignition coil, person whom had before put a very nice exhaust system so this will open it up nicely
Whats that aluminum thing on the tail gate behind the tire?
The flip down table or the extruded aluminum I mount things too occasionally?
I think it holds an antenna for your radio
1. Mytop
where is the hardtop video?
What is your opinion on weather tec floor covers
I think I need to order them and check em out
@@Casey250 I'm thought about getting them but always thought they were to pricey but I've seen today that there not much more than other brands
Lasfit keeps trying to send me some floor mats that they say are as good as Weathertech. Maybe check them out but I haven't tried em.
@@Casey250 ok
Is there a discount code for the taser JL Mini?
Negative. They don't generally do sales that I've ever seen
Biggest discount you will find with tazers is them doing BF deals and whatnot offering the extension harness for free. Said extension harness, at least for me with no premium audio, is completely not required. With premium audio it's a bit more tight down there but still isn't 100% necessary.
Black Friday is generally our only sale for the year, but keep an eye out because we also sporadically sell refurbished TaZer minis for a discounted rate throughout the year. Updates posted on our Facebook and our Instagram
Utah Design $80.00 I can do it myself !!!
awesome! They aren't complicated to make if you have the means. Love to hear about people DIY'ing things!
You on the trails...
100% but unlike most of my peers in this space work a full time job Mon to Friday
@@Casey250 I totally understand
Keep it up man 👊
Delete the carpet and floor mats. Armorlite.
That first mod is cool, but all it did was give me an idea to easily make one myself lol. save 80 bucks
Sweet. Ya some people are handy and can get ideas. Some people just wanna bolt something up and pay a few bucks. Glad it was helpful
We need a fix to the front windshield defrost issue. When we are in heavy snow and cold. All the so called fixes are not good enough.
Have you tried the little 3d printed blockers that go in the middle and force air out to the sides? I was wondering if those worked.
I stopped watching as soon as the midway commercial started. I enjoy your show. Too bad RUclips. I won't be watching anymore.
Buddy but thats how these guys ( RUclipsrs) make money. They get paid by the commercials on their videos.. otherwise they would make no money ..
If Casey trying to have help in paying for all the adventures and things he purchases, you aren’t a fan. Hope he continues to make others happy with the channel.
They can continue to put the commercials at the start or end of the videos. I will not subject myself to interruptions like cable tv. Sorry. I won't tolerate it. I will not become a slave to youtube or any other streaming service because of their greed.
@@johnboudreau5135maybe a newspaper is more for you then.
@@Wrangzillabut he would need to pay for that. I think this dude just thinks everything should be free. 😂
Show more travel, less reviews
Jk 😅
Lol.
Floormats??.....are we just gonna skip over the fact that Ol' Dude has over $200K worth of SUV there in his driveway lol....nice
Yes we are :)
Nice real car❤
