I passed on this one. One of my friends saw it and he said he liked it. I like Mangold as a director but I feel Spielberg should've done this one
I would like to say that if you like Indiana Jones and you like the director, then you should go see the movie. Yes, it does have a few unbelievable moments here and there as this reviewer pointed out. It still doesn't detract from the entertainment and overall story. Then there's the ending which I really liked! I agree that Spielberg should have directed it, but don't miss out on a pretty decent movie that's got some fun in it just because it's not "perfect". I enjoyed it and want to go back to catch what I missed in the first showing. It's worth a re-watch for me. 🙂
I love all five of the Indiana Jones films, and the dial of Destiny is one of my absolute favorites I’m serious
I felt pretty bored in the middle act. Starting the movie on a high note and then slowing down didn’t really help the pacing but it’s an overall okay experience. Found the finale pretty fun honestly
The ending was total horseshit, are you kidding.....
This is the best review I've seen for this film. ...the film is just kinda 'ok'. It's not the end of the world and nothing could ever recapture 'Raiders'.
It was just 'ok'.

Good review. I definitely feel sad that my favorite hero’s from Lucasfilm are not seeing strong character building finales. I hope they get new leadership
Better than Kingdom which had too many jokes, but that's it. An okay film where you could feel the limits. No problem with Phoebe. Sweet girl. I wish short round was in it some how as well.
I fell asleep and the only reason I stayed was because it was ridiculously expensive for cinema tickets

I was pretty let down with this one. It wasn’t BAD but it was pretty underwhelming and forgettable to me. I just felt it was a bummer way to go out with Indiana Jones. There was some fun with it though. Great review, Jennifer!

It was pointles, way better ending in the last one. My opinion.
Movies like this entertain once for the adrenaline ... but they don't last because of their flaws. You'll go see it, but you won't want to see it again.
Helena Shaw and the Dial of Destiny was ok. I found Helena Shaw's sidekick to be annoying because he took screen time away from her. What was his name? Idaho Smith or something?
I loved *loved* Dial of Destiny. Light years better than Temple and Kingdom. The third act was the best part 🙂

I went in with the same expectations. I didn’t care for Helena or Teddy at all on first viewing. I don’t blame the actors because they’re doing exactly what was written for them to do.
If it was Indy, Marion, Sallah and Short around going on one last adventure I would love this movie. As it stands, I just like it. I’d rather have this movie than not. But it wasn’t the grand slam finale I was hoping for.
I have to disagree this movie is garbage should had never been made but with that said great review love the channel.

Phoebe is the worst part
Most consistent thing I hear about this movie is Helena Shaw is a horrible character and the chase scenes drag on too much. It was very clear. From the trailers that the were wanting PWB to be able to replace Indy in her own series and this movie really tries to set that up in an unnatural way which really hurts the movie. Her character is Joffrey unlikeable without wanting to be like Joffrey.
I rewatched 4 last week.. I thought it wasn't half bad! It sticks out though, because the other 3 are classics.
I didn't think this movie is as bad as it is. It has its issues here and there, but I thought it was a solid ending to the Indiana Jones series
