You have a special camera and it’s even better that it works perfectly. I think as a photographer it’s one camera that makes perfect scenes to keep in your film collection. Many photographers would love to have this camera because of its sharpness and craftsmanship it’s a amazing point and shoot. Great video keep it up!

I rarely comment on youtube, but really now, this reminded me that gear is only an excuse - it's all about how you observe, even your own self, your way(s) of being. I can't praise enough how incredible your photography is. I love the way you focus on reflections, diffusing exteriors (public) with details from interiors (private / self), giving both the feeling of closeness and its illusion. I hope you keep going for what is true to you, trust your intuition and keep doing your magic..!

Really nice attitude to photography in your presentations on RUclips. The fun of just exploring and finding the photo to take or letting the photo find you really comes across. Letting the AF camera make some decisions (!) can get some interesting photographs too!

The sound of the Canon rewinding feels a bit like its going to explode xD. I really like the look of the Film stock! It looks a bit like the AGFA APX 400, and that film i dont like very much, because every picture kinda has a grey haze over it. The Look is a bit similar here, but i much prefer this Film because it has a lot of nice blacks. I dont know if you just pusht the contrast in post but i like it a lot.
Well point and shoots... i just sold my yashica T3 yesterday. I gave it to a close friend and she had it for 1 1\2 years and gave it now back to me, because i found a Olympus Mju ii on a local flee market. She got the Mju ii and i got back my yashica t3. But why did i gave away the mju ii and why did i sold my yashica t3? Both are really amazing cameras! I really love the look. And the mju ii is very crasy. It is so small and lightweight that you really can put it in your pocket. Its amazing. But very pricy. And there is one thing. And thats why i sold the Yashica T3 as well. If you just plan to shoot color with your point and shoot, there are a lot to choose from! But if you want to shoot B&W like you just did, i really like to use a yellow filter with it! And sadly most point and shoots dont allow you to put filters on! I own a Nikon L35 AF. It really is a super nice Cam! 35mm 2.8 and not with a Tessar Lens but with a Sonnar style Lens. (Most point and shoots use a tessar design) and you can put filter on! YES. And i really love the aesthetics of the L35 AF Model 1 that a own.
But if you want to have more manual control over the picture but at the same time have cinda the feeling of a point and shoot, you shout try out a small Rangefinder. The best option here are the Canonet QL17 giii, the Olympus 35 SP and the Minolta Hi Matic 7Sii and even more of corse. They all have a super nice 40mm 1.7!!! lens. They are all amazing. But if you want to get the most for your Money i would try the Revue 400SE. It is nearly the same Camera as the Minolta 7sii. (the Same body just no fully manual control) but it has the same 40mm 1.7 Lens! And its a lot cheaper! If you can get a good one, its amazing value for the money. I fixt up a Revue 400SE yesterday! Its a very nice Camera now! And of coarse you can use Filters on all of them. If you want to try out the Nikon L35 AF or the Revue 400SE or the Canonet QL17giii that i own, just send me a massage.

hahah I was really scared that it was actually going to explode. Thanks for all the great info, super useful. I'll take my time to check all of this! , I'm specially interested in the yellow filter👀, and I've never tried a rangefinder before, that sounds great actually. BTW I did push the contrast a little :)

I bought this cam and test it out using Portra 400. I was wondering how to avoid blurry photos when taking landscapes and random pictures? Mine came out mostly blurry :(

Don't sell it! 😊 I was just looking this one up on eBay and I was searching for a review, when I stumbled upon your vid. Now that I saw it I'm absolutely convinced, such a nice camera, thanks a lot for your "help".
Have you ever considered buying a Rollei 35 - it's compact like a point and shoot, but with full manual control. The only downside for me is that it's very slow compared with the Canon AF35. By the way: Rollei made amazing lenses, especially the Sonnar (by Carl Zeiss for the "Rollei 35 S"-model) - sharpness and contrast are just mind boggling both in color and b&w.
Anyways, very nice video and thanks for sharing your amazing photos!!! 👏👏👏
P.S. The composition of your "through the window"-photos remind me a lot of my favorite street photographer Saul Leiter.

I've just bought and repaired one of these. Looking forward to getting out with it soon. I actually have the same Pan film ready too.
I've seen some reviewers say the autofocus can be tricky, and can give different results to the photo you intended. Did you find this was the case?

@@conipez its a rangefinder camera in 35mm format and got a M mount. rangefinder cameras are nice to use for infraredfilm because you dont have to take the filter off to focus. and so all over i enjoy this small light camera, ok mostly i got mediumformat cameras and some largeformat cameras so this one is small and light 😁
